💙 A special appreciation lunch for our Centro de Información team!

Last month, our staff enjoyed a delicious lunch generously provided by Highland Avenue Church of the Brethren as a thoughtful gesture of appreciation for the work we do every day to serve our community.

We're incredibly grateful for their continued support, generosity, and kindness. Gestures like these remind us of the meaningful community connections that help strengthen our mission.

🌼 Celebrating our traditions and strengthening community connections!

On October 10, members of our Centro de Información team participated in El Trote de las Calacas, a community 5K run/walk in Elgin celebrating Día de los Mu***os, cultural traditions, and community unity.

We're grateful for opportunities to connect with our community, celebrate our shared traditions, and support other organizations making a positive impact in our region.

Congratulations to our participating team members, and thank you to everyone who made this wonderful event possible! 💙

We will also offer citizenship workshops and events where you can learn if you qualify for SNAP or Medicaid.

Our social service organizations are the backbone of our communities, helping keep our neighbors housed, fed, and connected to the resources they need.

Centro de Información is a prime example of this important work. Last year alone, they served more than 2,000 constituents from the 25th District, providing vital support and services to families.
