Friends of Fox Valley Youth, a registered 501(c)(3) organization, purpose is to aid local area Youth by providing funding for activities and programs. Any funds raised will be used to support the youth of Fox Valley in the following positive ways:
- Leadership Programs and Youth Development – Leadership Development and Youth Development enables teens to learn the following positive life skills:
Time Management, Public Speaking, Conflict Resolution, Ethical Decision Making, and Goal Setting. Promoting youth leadership programs and youth development is a great way to development is a great way to promote positive life skills learning. Our organization strives to provide programs and opportunities to not-for-profit groups in Fox Valley.
- Registration Fees and Travel Expenses for Courses and Youth Outings – Registration fees and travel expenses for one learning opportunity can cost $100 - $1000’s of dollars. Some families cannot afford these fees. Our organization strives to help those that cannot afford the opportunity on their own.
- Special Equipment and Required Materials – Various outing and programs throughout the year will require special equipment and materials. The equipment and materials purchased and maintained by the group for the Youth to use for years to come.
