We’re always proud to see ERDA’s own Marcie Mack making a difference in our community — and this recognition is so well deserved!

Congratulations to Marcie on being named President of the Board of Directors for United Way of Enid. ❤️

Marcie has a heart for Enid and a genuine commitment to making our community stronger. From economic development to education, workforce, nonprofits and countless community initiatives, she consistently gives her time, energy and leadership to help Enid thrive.

We’re lucky to have her leading ERDA, and even luckier to have her investing so much of herself in the community we all call home.

Congratulations, Marcie! 👏👏👏

Congratulations to these Enid Rotary Club members.

Today marked a significant milestone for Enid and the entire region with the ribbon cutting at the Kaw Lake Water Treatment Facility.

This project represents more than a new water treatment facility — it represents 10 years of vision, collaboration and investment in the future of our community. Conversations about bringing Kaw Lake water to Enid began a decade ago, and today we celebrated the culmination of years of planning and hard work.

A reliable, long-term water supply is essential to Enid’s continued growth — supporting our residents, businesses, industries and the communities throughout the surrounding area. This project strengthens the foundation for economic development and ensures we have the water resources needed to grow for generations to come.

Today’s ribbon cutting was a celebration of what can happen when a community looks ahead, works together and invests in its future. The future of Enid is flowing strong.

Congratulations to everyone who helped make this historic project a reality!

Yesterday, ERDA welcomed Nicki Fuller, General Manager/CEO of the OAEC - Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives, to our quarterly luncheon at Oakwood Country Club.

Nicki gave us an insightful look at the electric industry, from Oklahoma’s impressive reliability and the challenges of serving a state as diverse as ours, to the growing demand for electricity and the projected national “capacity drought.”

Her message was especially relevant for a community focused on growth and economic development: reliable, affordable power is foundational to everything we do.
As Nicki put it, “When you don’t have power, that’s all that matters.”

Thank you to Nicki for sharing her expertise and perspective, and to everyone who joined us for another great ERDA luncheon.
