Stop by the store today! There is still plenty of time to get in on our good raffles and win prizes. Everyone is in beautiful downtown Union Grove today for the car show.

Sunday Funday! Today is the last day of the Racine County Fair in Union Grove. The weather promises us a good day to wrap up the festivities. Come to our booth #22 in the commercial building and learn what we do for our local veterans and help support our mission. We have games, prizes, merchandise, and fun! All of the proceeds help us do what we do.

We had brought Paul some furniture in the recent past, but there was a few more things that he needed. We made our second trip to his home in Kenosha tonight with a few things that included a much wanted tool box. We were happy that we were able to supply him with what he needed.

$10 clothing bag sale starting Wednesday at Ground Zero Thrift Store 1011 Main Street, Union Grove. Stop in and see all that we have! All proceeds benefit our vets! Thank you for your continued support!

Even though we didn’t get as much as we wanted done, the veterans did a kick butt job again this year. If you’re a veteran, come to our food pantry at 1011 Main St. and you’ll be able to get fresh eggs, vegetables and some fruit. We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 until 5 and if you’d like to come out to the Farm Oasis and pick your own, we’re open Wednesday and Saturdays from 11 to 4 and that’s at 18700 Spring St., Union Grove. We're very proud of these veterans.

Unbelievably sad and unexpected,
Kelly Heidenreich (54yrs old) passed away Thursday morning due to complications of her surgery. She had broken her femur in a ATV accident a little more than a week ago. Kelly served on the GZVO board since the beginning in 2022. She took care of all the books and finances. Kelly has been my best friend for over 40 years. I am lost without her and I know GZVO has taken a huge loss. R.I.P. Kelly, you were loved.
