🍁🍂 Fall Fun at Messiah Christian Preschool! 🍎🎃

Our annual Fall Role Play was a HUGE hit! Our preschoolers had so much fun visiting the MCP Farmer’s Market, shopping for fresh fruits and vegetables, filling their grocery bags, and taking turns being cashiers and customers! 🛒🍎🥕

And what’s fall without a big pile of colorful leaves? 🍂 Our little learners had a blast raking, tossing, sliding, and playing in the leaves!

While the children were busy having fun, they were also learning important skills like counting money, taking turns, sharing, communicating, using their imaginations, and working together!

❤️ A HUGE THANK YOU to our wonderful volunteers! ❤️

We are so grateful to everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to come help make these special days possible. From helping our little shoppers at the market to joining in all the fall fun, your time, patience, and enthusiasm mean so much to us!

Without our amazing volunteers, we simply wouldn’t be able to provide these fun, hands-on experiences for our preschoolers! We are truly blessed to have such a supportive preschool community! 💕

🍁 Learning through play is what preschool is all about!

🚒🔥 We Thank Our Special Visitors from Our Local Heroes! 🚑👨‍🚒

Our preschoolers at Messiah Christian Preschool had an exciting visit from the Twin Lakes Fire Department last week !

Our little learners got an up-close look at the big red fire trucks and ambulances, explored the equipment, climbed inside the emergency vehicles, and learned all about fire safety! 🚒🚑

The firefighters and EMTs showed us their gear, explained how they help keep our community safe, and answered lots of curious questions! The children especially loved seeing how everything works and getting a chance to explore the vehicles!

❤️ A HUGE thank you to the Twin Lakes Fire Department for taking time out of your busy schedules to visit our preschool! Your patience, kindness, and willingness to share your knowledge made this such a fun and memorable hands-on learning experience for our students.

We are so grateful for the amazing first responders who serve and protect our community every day! ❤️

We may have a few future firefighters and EMTs in the making! 👨‍🚒🚒

🍂 Hello, October! 🎃

We welcomed a brand-new month at Messiah Christian Preschool with lots of fall fun, creativity, learning, and movement! October is already off to a wonderful start!

🎨 Our little artists explored fall colors through watercolor painting, leaf art, and plenty of hands-on sensory fun. We also practiced creativity and fine motor skills while building and decorating with different materials.

🍁 We took advantage of the beautiful fall weather with outdoor play, sidewalk chalk, and large-motor activities. Inside, our preschoolers worked on balance, coordination, following directions, and moving their bodies through some fun challenges.

🧡 Of course, there was plenty of time for learning through play too! From puzzles and centers to painting and creating, our classrooms were busy with friends learning, exploring, and working together.

We love watching how much our preschoolers learn and grow each week and we are so excited for all the pumpkins, leaves, Halloween fun, and fall adventures October will bring! 🍂🎃

Happy October from Messiah Christian Preschool! 🧡🎃🍂🍁

🍎 Another wonderful week at Messiah Christian Preschool! 🍎

Our preschoolers had a busy week filled with faith, creativity, exploration, and lots of hands-on learning! ❤️

During Worship Center, we learned about Noah’s Ark and God’s promise to Noah. 🌈🦒🐘 We love watching our little learners grow in their faith as they hear and experience Bible stories together.

🎨 We got creative with self-portraits, giving our preschoolers a chance to express how they see themselves while practicing fine motor skills.

🌳 We took our learning outdoors with nature walks, exploring, observing, and discovering the world God created around us.

🧪 Our Enrichment Program kept the fun going with hands-on activities, including making sand art! Scooping, pouring, creating, and experimenting made for a fun sensory learning experience.

And, of course, there was plenty of time for learning through play, building, creating, pretending, problem-solving, spending time with friends, and even some bubble fun outside! 🫧

We love seeing how much learning can happen when little hands are busy exploring. 💜 Another great week at MCP! ✝️🍎

🎨🐯 This Week in Preschool Enrichment! 🐯🤸

Our enrichment kiddos had another fun week of learning through creativity and movement!

🎨 For Art Enrichment, we tied into our zoo theme by starting our watercolor tigers! The children experimented with watercolor paints while practicing following guided directions, brush control, color mixing, creativity, and fine motor skills. We are going to love see how each tiger is going to be unique when we finish next week.

🤸 For Large Motor Enrichment, we got our whole bodies moving! Our obstacle challenged the children to work on coordination, balance, focus, body control, and following directions as they moved through hoops and completed the challenge. There were lots of smiles and lots of movement!

At MCP, enrichment is all about giving our preschoolers new ways to create, explore, move, and learn while having FUN! 💙
