Santa In The Basin Our mission is to provide a memorable Christmas experience for the less fortunate children throughout the Tularosa Basin and Otero county, NM.

Wanting to recreate a childhood memory was the starting point. As the community and city began to join her vision, it grew to be an annual event. Wanting to give back to her original com

munity in Tularosa, Mary reached out to her friends and family and 2021 will be the first year for Santa In The Basin! As grassroots members, we are trying to make a positive difference through our actions. This project was founded to bring joy to the children and their families at Christmas time who might not be able to celebrate as they should.

I want to let everyone know that Santa in the Basin is being passed on to Pastor Randy and Beth Vigil. I have mixed emotions about this transition, but I truly know they will continue the tradition and carry on its mission with care and dedication.

Santa in the Basin will become a local charity with its own 501(c)(3), and Pastor Randy and Beth will be leading it moving forward. I have complete confidence that they will make it a great success and continue blessing our community for years to come.

Thank you, Pastor Randy and Beth, for your willingness to take on this important role. May God bless and guide you as you continue this work of serving and blessing the community.

It’s an afternoon of crafts & activities with Santa. If you would like to donate or volunteer, please reach out. We are dedicated to helping children in need at Christmas time! SITB is a partner of Santa On The West End Inc and a nonprofit 501c3. Check out our page or our website if you would like to donate to help us help the families in Otero County.
