CHRISTMAS PREP HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN!

We may still be soaking up the last days of August, but around here our elves are already hard at work!

Christmas is such a special time in our homes. It’s a time for celebrating, giving, making memories, reminding each of our kids just how loved they are, and the true reason for the season. We want to make sure every single child gets to experience a little Christmas magic.

So this year, we’re looking for some very special Christmas Elves to join us!

HERE’S HOW TO BECOME AN ELF:
Step 1: Choose a child from the photos below. You’ll see their name and home.
Step 2: Make a $50 donation to cover their Christmas gift, stocking stuffers, and sweet treats.
Step 3: Comment “Santa’s Little Helper” under their photo so we know they have been claimed!

But this year, we have one more special way you can help…

LET’S BLESS OUR HOME DIRECTORS, TOO!
Our directors pour so much of themselves into making Christmas special for the kids in their homes. From planning and decorating to extra meals, activities, and all the little things that make the holidays feel magical, there is a LOT that goes on behind the scenes.

This year, we would love to bless each home director with an extra Christmas gift to help cover some of those added holiday expenses—whether that means extra food for a special meal, decorations for their home, Christmas activities, or simply something that makes the season a little easier and less stressful. Because the people who spend so much time creating Christmas magic for our kids deserve a little Christmas magic of their own.

If you would like to help bless a director with a $100 extra gift, simply write "Santa's Little Helper" under their photo, and donate through the same link, but write "Directors name and Christmas".

With your help, Christmas can be more than presents under a tree. It can be a season filled with joy, laughter, memories, and the reminder that each of our kids, and the people who care for them— are deeply loved.

The Chapin Home is officially underway!

The trenches are dug, the rebar is in place, and the foundation is beginning to take shape.

What a joy it is to watch this home go from a dream to something we can actually see rising from the ground!

Thank you to everyone who has prayed, given, encouraged, and helped us get to this point. We are so grateful for each of you who is helping us build a strong foundation for what God is going to do here.

We’re just getting started!

These pictures are really special to us.

One is dedicating the Fulp Home after watching God bring it from an idea to a finished home. The other is breaking ground for the Chapin Home and praying over what is still to come.

If we're honest, there were so many moments when these projects felt way too big. We didn't know how everything would come together, but God has been faithful every step of the way. He provided the people, the prayers, and the finances to build the Fulp Home, and now they have a place to call home because of it.

Now we're standing where the Chapin Home will be built, trusting Him to do it again.

We still have a long way to go, and we're praying for God to provide the remaining funds needed to build this home. We know He already knows the need, and we're choosing to believe that He will provide in His perfect timing.

These homes mean so much to us, but they aren't our forever homes. Heaven is. Until then, we're so thankful that God has allowed us to build homes here on earth where children can be safe, loved, and experience the hope of Jesus.

Thank you to every person who has prayed, given, encouraged, and believed with us. You are part of this story, and we're excited to see how God writes the next chapter.

Can we be honest for a minute?

Vehicle maintenance isn't a fun thing to raise money for. It's not a new house, or a big project with exciting pictures. But without reliable vehicles, so much of what we do simply doesn't happen.

If you've ever come to Guatemala on a Hope for Home team, you've ridden in our vans and trucks. You've probably heard us talk about a repair...or maybe you even got to experience a breakdown firsthand. 😅 That's just the reality of driving these roads every day.

Our vehicles are used constantly to pick up teams, transport kids, haul supplies, and get our staff where they need to be. They're one of the most used tools we have, but this fund is also one of the most overlooked.

We still have over $15,000 left that will be matched dollar for dollar, and we're really hoping to take advantage of every bit of it. We also desperately need to replace one of our vans with a reliable one that we can count on.

If you've been looking for a way to help Hope for Home, this is one of the most practical ways you can make a difference. It may not be glamorous, but it keeps everything else moving.
