Last Paw Rescue Foster rescue, based out of Tomah, WI. We are always looking for foster help & volunteers. We take most of our dogs from overcrowded areas and shelters.

Meet Creed 🐾🤍

Creed is a 3-year-old Great Pyrenees with a heart every bit as big as his oversized head. Weighing in at about 70 pounds, this lovable goofball is currently working on putting on a little more weight, but what he lacks in pounds he more than makes up for in personality.
Creed is the definition of a gentle giant. He loves people, enjoys making new friends, and has a goofy, playful spirit that will keep you smiling every day. Despite his size, he often seems blissfully unaware of just how big he is, which only adds to his charm.
One of Creed's funniest quirks is his relationship with the crate. While he isn't a huge fan of going in, we're actively working on it. If he suspects crate time is coming, he suddenly decides it's playtime and will do everything in his power to dodge, juke, and dance away from you in the most adorable way possible. Once he's in, he may voice his opinion for a few minutes, but he settles down quickly and relaxes.

Creed does well on a leash and enjoys spending time with other dogs. Because he's still building strength and confidence, he occasionally grabs onto a friend's tail when they're moving faster than he'd like, almost as if he's asking them to slow down and wait for him. It's just one more example of his silly and endearing personality.

He does wonderfully with children and other dogs and would make an excellent addition to a family looking for a laid-back companion with a playful side. If you're searching for a dog who can make you laugh, offer giant hugs, and fill your home with love, Creed may be your perfect match.

Peter is a 2-year-old Heeler/Staffy/Labrador Retriever mix weighing 55 lbs of pure love 💛

This sweet boy may be a little shy at first—but that’s only because he’s spent half his life in a shelter, patiently waiting for someone to finally choose him. Once he feels safe, Peter blossoms into a goofy, affectionate pup who just wants to be by your side 🥹

He loves to jump, play, and have fun with both dogs and humans—but he’s just as happy lounging on a cozy bed and being your couch potato companion 🛋️🐶

This adorable Beagle/Heeler mix pup is 3 months old and full of sweetness! 🥰🐾

She was a little shy and scared when she first arrived, but after a few days of love and patience, her personalities has really started to shine. 💗🥹 She loves playing, exploring her surroundings, and most of all, curling up for snuggles.

Delilah is an affectionate and playful pup who is looking for a loving family to help her continue building confidence and experiencing all the joys of puppyhood.

She has received her first distemper vaccination, been dewormed, and is microchipped.

Dodger is a 3-year-old Akita mix weighing in at 57 lbs of energy, personality, and fun! 💥

This handsome guy is always ready to go—whether it’s playtime, exploring the yard, or joining you on your next adventure. Dodger would thrive in an active home that can keep up with his zest for life and help him channel all that enthusiasm into positive outlets.

- Kennel and potty trained - yay!

He’s a social pup who does great with other dogs and kids, and he absolutely loves having friends to play with! 🐕‍🦺👧

Dodger is still working on his manners—he can be strong on leash and gets excited (hello, jumping!), but with some consistency and training, he has all the potential to be an amazing companion. He’s a smart boy who just needs someone willing to guide him.

Meet these adorable german shepherd Mix puppies!

These 4 month old old German Shepherd mix pups recently arrived in Wisconsin after being rescued from the streets of Texas. While they're still a little shy as they adjust to their new surroundings, they are already showing their sweet personalities and have so much potential to blossom with love, patience, and continued socialization.

With plenty of TLC, these pups will continue to gain confidence and thrive in their forever homes. They are up to date on all age-appropriate veterinary care, including distemper, rabies, and bordetella vaccinations. They have also been dewormed and started on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. They are fixed and microchipped.

These three deserving puppies are ready to leave their difficult past behind and find families who will give them the love and security they deserve. 🥰🐾

Meet Gunther 🐾💙

Gunther is a 1-year-old Blue Silver Lab mix with a gentle heart and a story that reminds us just how much dogs are loved. This handsome boy is a heartworm survivor who has successfully completed treatment and is now healthy, happy, and ready to find the forever family he's been waiting for.

When Gunther arrived in Wisconsin, he came with something we don't always see — three full pages of notes from his foster family in Texas, along with carefully portioned bags of food, treats, and toys. It was immediately clear that Gunther was deeply loved by the people who cared for him. They wanted to make sure his next chapter was just as special as the one before.

After making the long journey north, Gunther has understandably taken a little time to settle in. He's not the type of dog who immediately throws himself into your lap or demands attention from strangers. Instead, he's thoughtful and a little reserved at first, preferring to take things in and get comfortable on his own timeline. But once he begins to trust you, his sweet personality starts to shine.

Over the last few days, we've watched Gunther come out of his shell more and more. Once he knows he's safe, all he really wants is love, companionship, and a place to belong. He's crate trained, potty trained, and has excellent house manners.

Gunther does well with other dogs, though he isn't the type to immediately jump into play. He prefers to observe first and ease into new friendships. Once he's comfortable, he'll engage more, but he's not interested in roughhousing or overly rowdy playmates. He also does great with kids, making him a great fit for many different types of homes.

This sweet boy has already overcome heartworm disease, made a long trip away from the people who loved him, and is now searching for a family to call his own. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will reward your patience with unwavering love and trust, Gunther may be your perfect match.

Meet Donut, Scout & Stetson! The mixed breeds!

Stetson ohh my goodness, the snuggle is real. He loves to be on your lap. Snuggled in. Belly scratches are his absolute favorite He flops over and just waits. Amazing with other dogs, very gentle with kids. Hes afraid of out outside cats as there bigger than he is.

Scout: male - neutered
Loves to be on the go. All the time goes to the door when he has to go Potty has the teeniest little bark. Love's kids like, oh my goodness, they are the greatest joy He has. Out door cats dont bother him at all. Chickens are super scarry!! Loves all dogs and people. Tug of war is his favorite 😍 naps are optional. Comes running when called

I love people. I love other dogs. Cats are okay but they are a bit scarry yet. I love to play tug of war. Kids are my favorite 😍 love being pet.
Working on slight food aggression towards other dogs but will eat amazing from your hand.
