Last Paw Rescue Foster rescue, based out of Tomah, WI. We are always looking for foster help & volunteers. We take most of our dogs from overcrowded areas and shelters.

By living with a foster family our rescue dogs receive love and care as they will in their forever home! In their foster home the dogs begin learning potty training, walking on a leash, crate tr

aining and other basic commands! Every dog sees a veterinarian who issue a health certificate, updates shots, checks for parasites, tests for heart worm and treats other health issues.

Meet this adorable 10-week-old Australian Shepherd/Chow Chow mix! She's a solid little meatball with a sweet, loving personality that's sure to steal your heart.

This uncommon cross combines the intelligence and energy of the Australian Shepherd with the loyalty and independent nature of the Chow Chow. As an adult, she is expected to be a medium-sized dog, weighing approximately 40–65 pounds. She'll likely have a thick, fluffy double coat and she definitely inherited the unique feature of the Chow's signature blue-black tongue.

She has:

🐾Been microchipped

Meet Gomez (Gome) 🐾💛

1 year old Canaan dog mix (best guess) with a big heart, bright mind, and puppy energy for days.

Gomez is kennel trained, sleeps quietly through the night, and is house trained with a routine or outdoor access. He’s very food motivated and already knows how to sit for meals and before walks—smart boy who loves to learn!

He’s friendly with people (including respectful kids) and adores attention, but he’s also fine entertaining himself with toys or a good chew like a bully stick or antler. He’s playful with other dogs, though still learning his manners and can get a little rowdy at playtime—never aggressive, just enthusiastic!

Outdoors is his happy place. He loves walks, exploring, and anything that moves fast—squirrels, joggers, bikes… he’s VERY interested 😄 He’ll need continued training on impulse control and leash focus. Not cat tested, but likely to chase.

Gomez is sweet, smart, goofy, and eager to please. He’s still a puppy, so he’ll need guidance, structure, and patience—but he’s got all the makings of an amazing best friend for an active home.

Meet Blarney (Bear)! 🐾

Hi! I'm Blarney, but my friends call me Bear. I'm about 7 years young and looking for my forever home!

I'm my foster mom's shadow and love being with my people. Honestly, I love anyone who will play with me and give me attention! ❤️ .. I also get along great with my foster dog brother and sister. 🙂

I'm house-trained, kennel trained, neutered, microchipped and up to date on my vaccinations. I love treats, enjoy carrying toys around, and have lots of energy in the mornings before settling in for a relaxing afternoon.

A couple things to know about me—I'm a bit of a Houdini and can jump low fences, so I'll need a home with a secure, tall fenced yard where I can safely explore and sniff around. Sometimes sudden movements can startle and scare me.

I'm looking for a patient family who wants a loyal companion to share a quiet, mellow life with.

Morgan is a happy, playful guy who loves dogs of all sizes, even if he makes sure they remember he’s the tiny boss of the group 😉 His tail never stops wagging.

He is working hard on potty and kennel training and doing his best every day. He currently wears belly bands while in the house. It’s best to feed him in his kennel, he doesn’t like to share, does anybody really? At night, Morgan’s favorite place to be is snuggled up in bed — preferably under the covers, as close to you as possible 🥹
