Last Paw Rescue Foster rescue, based out of Tomah, WI. We are always looking for foster help & volunteers. We take most of our dogs from overcrowded areas and shelters.

We don't quit "til the last PAW is home!”
💰Venmo: Our dogs are placed in FOSTER HOMES ONLY(We do not have a shelter or facility), as we believe they should be treated as part of a family! By living with a foster family our rescue dogs receive love and care as they will in their forever home! In their foster home the dogs begin learning potty training, walking on a leash, crate training and other basic commands! Every dog sees a veterinarian who issue a health certificate, updates shots, checks for parasites, tests for heart worm and treats other health issues.

At just 8 weeks old, these fluffy little pups are already winning hearts! A mix of an American Eskimo Dog and Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie), these sweet babies will grow into a playful, affectionate, and incredibly intelligent companions.

With fluffy coats, bright eyes, and plenty of puppy charm, these little ones are ready to find a loving family to grow up with. Esklands are known for being energetic, eager to learn, and very people-oriented, making them wonderful candidates for a family ready for the fun and commitment that comes with raising a puppy.

At this age, these sweet pups are still discovering the world and will need a family who can provide patience, positive training, socialization, lots of playtime, and plenty of cuddles.

If you're looking for a fluffy little companion who will grow alongside your family and fill your days with puppy kisses, zoomies, and love, one of these adorable babies may be the perfect match! ❤️🐶

All 3 pups have had their first distemper vaccine, been dewormed, and microchiped

Their adoption fee is $400 with a $200 spay/neuter deposit (returned after proof of spay/neuter at 6 months)

Meet Begonia! 🌸

Begonia is a sweet 9-year-old, 10-pound Shihpoo who would love nothing more than to be your little shadow and professional cuddle buddy. ❤️

She is spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccines. She is also crate trained and completely potty trained!

Begonia loves being with her people but doesn't love other dogs and cats. She’s an absolute in-your-pocket snuggle bug who would much rather curl up beside you than chase a ball or participate in zoomies. If you’re looking for a calm companion who wants to spend her days by your side, Begonia may be your girl! 🥰

Begonia appears to have some arthritis in her hind legs, so she will do best with a good joint supplement and a little extra TLC. She is also missing quite a few teeth and will likely need a dental cleaning.

This precious little lady has so much love left to give and is ready to find her forever family.

Athena is a loving, cuddly and a beautiful pup! She is loving this Wisconsin grass and being outside!!! She is a little nervous about playing with her foster sisters right now, but she is starting to jump in and play! After a good time outside Athena loves to cuddle up and love on her people! She is a little shy at first, but with time she warms up right away!

Her ears hear it all, and she will be right with you whenever you go! She has been doing amazing with potty training, and she is still working on kennel training! She does great walking on a leash, and has enjoyed the walks we have taken!! If you want someone to be crazy and play, be calm on a walk or cuddle up for a midday nap Athena is your girl!!!

Justice has made her way up to Wisconsin from Texas! She has been enjoying her time with her other foster siblings and does well with both of them. We also have two kids ages 5 and 9 and she is good with the kids as well!

She is a very smart girl, I would love to see her go to a family who will continue training her. She has been doing amazing walking on a leash! She’s also doing good potty training. She sleeps in a crate at night with no problems.

She absolutely loves a good cuddle, and prefers to be in someone’s lap, even though she’s getting a little too big for it.

Chester is a very lucky dog. He was found as a stray in Texas and was able to get a freedom ride to Wisconsin where he is now being fostered in Stevens Point.

Chester is our little red headed foster baby, and he has green eyes that are just so beautiful! He’s been a great foster dog so far. He loves people, and loves to cuddle. But like his breed suggests, he loves to chase a ball! He does well with our children, ages 5 & 9, but please do research on the Cattle Dog breed as they can naturally heard people and other animals.
I’d love to see him go to a family that will give him the attention and love the breed requires. He loves to chew on a bone as well! He’s doing well with potty training, and sleeping through the night in a crate. He’s a very smart little boy!

Meet Jerry 💙

I’m a brindle boy, guessed to be around 4 years old, and I’m a little guy weighing only about 13 pounds! My foster mom says I’m a unique-looking little dude, and she also says I’m just a baby. 🥰

Here are a few things you should know about me:

🐾 I’m up to date on my vaccinations and preventatives. I am also microchipped and neutered.
🐾 I do great with other dogs!
🐾 I sleep quietly in my kennel all night like a good boy.
🐾 I’m still working on my house training, so I’ll need a patient family to help me learn.
🐾 Loud noises can really scare me, and even the TV can be frightening when it first comes on. I need someone who understands that I may need a little extra reassurance, patience, and time to feel safe.
🐱 I haven’t been around cats in my foster home, so we don’t know how I would do with them yet.

My foster mom says I have some things to learn, but I think the most important thing I need to learn is that I’m safe, that I matter, and that I’m worthy of love. ❤️

I may be a little scared of the big world around me, but with a kind heart, a gentle touch, and a family willing to give me time to blossom, I know I can make a wonderful companion.

Meet Arthur 🐾💙

Arthur is an 8-month-old Labrador Retriever mix weighing around 30 pounds, and this boy is one seriously smart cookie! 🍪

Arthur is high energy, incredibly intelligent, and completely devoted to the person who is willing to invest time and love into him. He is the kind of dog who wants to work with you, learn from you, and be involved in whatever you're doing. Give Arthur your attention and affection, and you will have his heart.

This boy has SO much potential. You can already see that if someone is willing to put the time and energy into training him, Arthur is going to meet them every step of the way. He is extremely food motivated, eager to learn, and has the drive to keep learning new things. Training isn't something Arthur will simply tolerate — it's something that will give his busy, brilliant mind a job to do.

Arthur is also a HUGE snuggle bug. For all of his energy and enthusiasm, he absolutely loves affection and wants nothing more than to be close to his person. Once he's had the opportunity to burn off some energy, he's happy to settle in and soak up all the love you have to give.

We're currently working with Arthur on crate training and leash manners. He can pull on leash, but with his intelligence and food motivation, we expect him to catch on quickly with consistent training and positive reinforcement.

Arthur is not looking for a home where he'll be left in a crate all day. He needs a family who will give him exercise, mental stimulation, training, and opportunities to be part of the action. In return, you're getting a dog who wants to go everywhere with you, learn everything you can teach him, and become your best adventure buddy.

If you're looking for a dog who will get you off the couch, get you out of the house, and enthusiastically participate in life right alongside you, Arthur may be your guy. He's smart, affectionate, driven, and ready for someone who is willing to show him just how amazing he can be.

Hi everyone! My name is Leonardo, and I came all the way up from down south in search of my forever family! ❤️

I’m a 9-month-old Chihuahua mix (that’s what they tell me 😉), weighing in at a petite 11 pounds. I’m a super sweet little boy and a total snuggle bug who would love nothing more than to curl up with my person!
