Sparta Area Chamber of Commerce Concerts in the Park 2026 at Evan's Bosshard Park is officially back starting May 20th and we have packed this season with so many amazing bands, it’s going to be absolutely ELECTRIC! ⚡

We have been working hard to make this the BEST Concerts in the Park series to date, and we’ve heard you loud and clear. Here is just a taste of what’s in store all summer long at Evans Bosshard Park on Wednesday nights:

Starting at 5:30 P.M., local clubs and non-profits will be in the concession stand serving up your supper. Make sure you get there early to grab a bite and support your community before the show! There will also be adult beverages on hand for purchase, and sodas and water! Menus to be posted soon!

🚚💨 Plus, get ready for FOOD TRUCK NIGHTS! We will have food trucks on site July 1st and July 15th!

🎵 THE MUSIC starts rocking from 6:30 – 8:30 P.M. so you can enjoy the perfect summer evening.

Congratulations Lieutenant Jose Tovar 👏

On Friday, Lieutenant Jose Tovar graduated from the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Command College.

The Wisconsin Command College, a nationally accredited leadership and management development training program, is a joint venture of the Wisconsin Department of Justice and University of Wisconsin-Madison. Law enforcement leaders who complete this intense program are recognized as a Certified Public Manager® by the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

As part of successful completion of the program, Lieutenant Tovar had to complete a class project to benefit law enforcement across the State of Wisconsin, as well as an individual project to benefit the Sparta Police Department.

This advanced leadership training will strengthen Lieutenant Tovar’s capabilities as he continues to lead within our department and our community. Graduating from this program is a tremendous achievement and reflects his dedication to leadership, professional development, the Sparta Police Department, and the City of Sparta.

Please join us in congratulating Lieutenant Tovar on this significant accomplishment and his continued commitment to the advancement of our department, community, and the law enforcement profession.
