Tomorrow, something special starts in our community! 💚

Give Local is a community giving event hosted by the Community Foundation of South Puget Sound. For three weeks, neighbors across Lewis, Mason, and Thurston counties come together online to support the local nonprofits they love.

This year, Lewis County Footsteps of Hope is taking part for the first time. Why? Give Local helps more people discover our work, and every gift on our Give Local page also earns us a share of the Community Foundation’s Bonus Fund. That means your gift goes even further.

Our goal: fill 500 weekend food backpacks for Lewis County students. Just $10 fills one backpack.

Each week we deliver food to kids who need it most, and we couldn’t do it without the people who show up for them again and again. Thank you to our volunteers, donors, partners and neighbors for walking these footsteps with us.

Lewis County Footsteps of Hope was voted Best Nonprofit in the Best of Lewis County 2026! 💙

Thank you to everyone who voted for us, and to every volunteer, donor and community partner who helps us get weekly food deliveries to kids across our county. This award belongs to all of you. Every bag packed and every delivery made happens because of this community.

Our first pickup, and so much to be thankful for! 🛒💛

A heartfelt thank-you to Fuller’s Market Place in Centralia and everyone who purchased a food donation bag to help kids in need across Lewis County.

Lewis County Footsteps of Hope (LCFH) is grateful to be a beneficiary of this generosity. Each bag helps us put food into the hands of local children—and reminds them that their community cares.

🌍💙 On United Nations Day, we’re reminded that even though the world is made up of many cultures, languages, and stories, every child deserves the same simple things: kindness, safety, hope, and a place to belong. At Lewis County Footsteps of Hope, that belief lives close to home. Every backpack filled, every meal shared, and every act of care helps show children in our community that they are seen, supported, and never alone. For many students, Friday means the start of a fun-filled weekend. But for some children in our community, it can also mean two days of uncertainty about their next meal.

A backpack filled with food can mean so much more than groceries. It can mean peace of mind, a little less worry, and the comfort of knowing someone cares. ❤️

We're so honored to be featured in Cornerstone's Partnership Spotlight! 💙👣

Several times a month, our team delivers food to the Cornerstone pantry so Chehalis students facing food insecurity never have to worry about their next meal. And when a child needs new shoes, clothes, or hygiene items, we're there for that too.

Our promise is simple: one text or phone call, and we're scheduling a delivery. 🚚

A huge thank you to DeeDee Judd, Cecilia Jimenez, and Jacey Hinkle at Cornerstone for walking alongside these families every day. We couldn't do this without you. And happy 3 years, Cornerstone! 🎉
