❤️⚽ THE HEART BEHIND TYSC ⚽❤️
Ever wonder where so many of the thoughts, ideas, and big dreams for TYSC come from?
These two right here. 👏
Our President, Toni, and Vice President, PJ.
They truly are the heart and soul of this club. 💙
And here’s a pretty incredible fun fact: neither of them have kids who play soccer. They simply choose to give their time, energy, and hearts to this program because they believe in what TYSC can be—and what it can become.
You might see Toni at the Boys & Girls Club during the day, at the fields working on maintenance, sitting in meetings, or bouncing ideas around with the board. She is constantly finding ways to make TYSC better. Her time, effort, and dedication may happen behind the scenes, but they absolutely do not go unnoticed.
And then there’s PJ. 🙌
A teacher at Tri-Central, he spends his off time working at the Boys & Girls Club or out at the fields. He loves seeing his students out there playing, growing, and becoming confident young people—and he has a way of making a lifelong impression on the kids around him.
But they don’t stop there.
Both Toni and PJ are also out on the sidelines coaching 1–2 teams every season. ⚽ They aren’t just leading the club—they’re investing directly in the kids.
That’s what makes TYSC special.
It’s people who believe in kids.
People who believe in community.
People who are willing to roll up their sleeves and do the work—even when no one is watching.
They wouldn’t let me fake a good picture of them! But, Toni & PJ, thank you for believing in TYSC, dreaming bigger for our kids, and giving so much of yourselves to this club. Your impact reaches far beyond the soccer field, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do. 💙⚽
