Communication. Teamwork. Leadership.
Those were the focus areas for our first two weeks of Life and Workforce Readiness programming with our Counselors in Training.
Through a partnership with Agape Horse Ranch, our CITs have been challenged to strengthen their communication and teamwork skills through hands-on activities involving both miniature horses and larger horses.
Students navigated obstacle courses, completed team-building challenges, practiced problem solving, and learned how leadership often starts with clear communication and trust.
These experiences help our teens develop the soft skills employers consistently identify as essential for future success while also building confidence in themselves and their abilities.
