🇺🇸Celebrating Our 2026 Grand Marshals: 🇺🇸
🗽Porky and Linda Lamb 🗽

The Best 4th in the North Committee is thrilled to announce that Francis "Porky" Lamb and Linda Lamb, have been named the Grand Marshals for the 2026 Best 4th in the North Parade!

It is hard to imagine a couple more deserving of this honor. A lifelong resident born right here at Moses Ludington Hospital, Porky’s dedication to our country and our community spans decades. From serving his country in the U.S. Army, to working at the International Paper Company for 45 years, Porky has always exemplified hard work and dedication. Together, he and Linda have also been a staple of our local economy as longtime business owners.

Beyond their business ventures, the Lambs have poured their hearts into Ticonderoga.
Porky’s incredible civic involvement includes:
🇺🇸Serving as a 3rd Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus
🇺🇸Active membership in the American Legion and the Elks
🇺🇸Driving for the Ticonderoga EMS
🇺🇸Co-founding the Hometown Heroes organization, which proudly displays and maintains the veteran banners that line our town's streets.

The town previously recognized these immense contributions by proclaiming May 13, 2023, as Francis F. Lamb Day—the very same weekend Porky and Linda took part in the North Country Honor Flight to Washington, D.C.

Now, in 2026, we get to celebrate this remarkable couple once again. Please join us this 4th of July in cheering on Porky and Linda Lamb as they lead the Best 4th in the North Parade. Thank you, Porky and Linda, for a lifetime of service, business, and community spirit that makes Ticonderoga proud!
