HoneyRock in the 1980s faced significant challenges and transitions. Budgets tightened. Leadership changed. Enrollment declined. The future felt uncertain, but our leaders persevered because they believed in the mission, and God provided because He is faithful.

This past weekend, we commissioned our 11th cohort of Vanguard students into their next season🌿.

Over the past year, we’ve witnessed the seeds sown by parents, teachers, and communities be watered and begin to sprout. These remarkable students grew in confidence, resilience, faith, leadership, and a deepening sense of purpose. Each Vanguard received a name that reflects the growth we’ve seen in this season, and we pray they continue to water and tend to that seed, as we trust God with the harvest.

Hey HoneyRock, welcome to the 60's! This was a time of growth for HoneyRock. Fresh bread in the expanded dining hall, skits in the Hogan, burros galloping across camp, and tubing down Ski Hill marked the beginning of year-round programs and a commitment to creating the best setting for discipleship.
