🍕✨Save the Date: Spirit Night!✨🍕

What exactly is a Spirit Night? It’s an easy way to support our school while enjoying a meal! 🙌

Spirit Nights are special events where a local business partners with our school for a specific date and time. When you stop by during that time and purchase items, the business donates a portion of the proceeds back to our school!

The best part? These events are SO easy to participate in. It usually just means grabbing dinner for your family, and you’re helping support our school at the same time! Every purchase helps, and together those purchases can make a BIG difference! ❤️

🚀 MISSION POSSIBLE: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🚀

Our annual fundraiser is blasting off into space this year! 🌎🪐 Our school and PTA work together to raise funds supporting specials, electives, grade-level grants, community events, and school building upgrades.

To make this mission a success, we need LOTS of volunteers before, during, and after the fundraiser! 🙌

Want to watch your child run in the Dino Fun Run? Volunteer to help monitor the course and cheer on ALL the kids! It’s a great way to be part of the fun while supporting our students.

👕 Don’t forget to sign up for your student’s Free Spirit Shirt!

Sizes are due September 4.
If we do not receive a size for your student, we will order the average size for their class.

Students will receive their shirts October 6 and should wear them for the Fun Run on October 9!

We look forward to welcoming all Discovery Magnet School families to Back-to-School Night! Families who are new to Discovery Magnet School will receive their Infinite Campus (IC) account information during the event. Returning families who are experiencing issues accessing their Infinite Campus account are encouraged to attend so staff can assist with login or account concerns.

For returning families, Infinite Campus will open on Friday, August 14, 2026, allowing you to view your student's teacher assignment and other important back-to-school information.

School pictures will also be taken during Back-to-School Night! Discovery Magnet School will once again be partnering with Lifetouch for student photos. Families may order photo packages before or after Picture Day by visiting the Lifetouch website and entering our Picture Day ID: EVTBNVT6T.
