We had another wonderful day at LifeWise Academy today! Our 5th graders dove into the foundational truth that God beautifully and intentionally created both man and woman in His own image, making them unique yet equal.

Connecting this to our daily lives, our LifeWise Character Quality of the week is RESPECT. We discussed that understanding everyone is created by God means we must treat every person with value, kindness, and honor.

Parents, keep these meaningful conversations going at home by asking: "What is one way you can show respect to a classmate who is different from you?" or "How did someone show you respect today?"

👕 LifeWise T-Shirts are home! Your child should have come home today with their brand-new LifeWise T-shirt. We want to show our LifeWise spirit, so please encourage your kids to wear their shirts to school on Fridays!

🗓️ No Class Next Week: Please note that there will be no LifeWise classes next Friday, September 11th, due to Grandparents Day activities at the school. We will miss seeing everyone and look forward to welcoming our students back the following week!

🎒✨ Week two of LifeWise Academy is officially in the books, and our 5th graders are doing an amazing job! ✨🎒

We loved welcoming everyone back this week! Our focus was all about gratitude—learning what it means to have a thankful heart and discovering how we can appreciate the blessings all around us. The students brought such great energy, participated in awesome discussions, and showed hearts truly ready to learn.

📈 We are growing fast and are thrilled to welcome 8 new students to our classes this week! Our community is expanding, but there is still plenty of room. If you haven't signed up yet, enrollment stays open year-round, and it is not too late to join us!💬

🎒✨We were all SO excited to launch our incredible program today! Our 5th graders did an amazing job!✨🎒

We spent some wonderful time getting to know each other, learned what the Bible is, and watched a short video showing how the entire Bible tells the story of Jesus. They brought such great energy and hearts ready to learn!

Seeing the kids hop off the bus with big smiles, eager hearts, and open minds made all the hard work worth it.

A massive thank you to all the parents, schools, volunteers, and community members who made today possible. We are praying for an incredible, life-changing school year ahead! 🙏❤️

What an amazing group of people God has brought together for our LifeWise Program! 🙏

Today, we spent the morning preparing for our big launch next Friday. We played games, shared some laughs, took a bus ride, and toured the school. Then, we got down to business discussing our policies, procedures, and safety measures.

We absolutely couldn’t do this without each and every one of them. They are the heartbeat of everything we do here at LifeWise! ❤️

Today, we want to give a special shout-out and introduce you to one of our newest volunteers, Susan Buchanan! 🌟 Susan is a retired medical professional who is already jumping right in to support our mission.

"Hi! I'm Susan Buchanan. I am thrilled to be joining LifeWise as a volunteer. What a BLESSING it will be to share the love of Jesus with these students!! I retired from the medical field about a year ago, and this opportunity to serve is perfect! I love the Lord, and have been a Christian all of my adult life. I am the mother of 2 grown children and the grandmother of 5 precious grands! I am an avid dog lover! AND...I'm EXCITED about LifeWise!!"

MEET ANOTHER OF OUR WONDERFUL VOLUNTEERS!!

I am a proud native of Thomaston, now currently settled in Griffin. I’ve been married to my best friend, Deke, for almost 21 years, and together we’ve built a beautiful life.

I’m a mother of four and Mimi to nine, a role that brings me endless joy. Family is my favorite place to be, and I cherish every moment spent with them.

I’m currently in my fourth year with Kineo Ministries, where I will soon graduate with a degree of Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies — a journey that has strengthened my faith and
deepened my calling.

It was an absolute joy connecting with our amazing community. We loved sharing the vision of our program with so many beautiful families who stopped by. Your enthusiasm, questions, and support mean the absolute world to us as we kick off this exciting new school year together! 📚✏️

🍪 And a BIG shoutout to our own Mr. Terrell for baking us a couple hundred chocolate chip cookies to share! They were a huge hit with everyone and made the day even sweeter! 🎉
