Long time Zontian Gail Formanack who sadly passed away in December of 2025 was honored for her dedication and many many hours of volunteerism at Shepherd’s Lighthouse with this beautiful plaque. In addition the Zonta Club of The Villages provided two Gail Formanack Women in Public Affairs scholarships this year to two very deserving female high school graduates. .

While our ultimate desire is to live in a world where Zonta's work is complete, the harsh reality is that we are not there yet. In The Villages, FL, many members of our organization migrate north during the summer months. Those of us who reside here full-time convene during the summer. June Zonta of TV's lunch meet-up.

Closing out our 2025/2026 the Zonta Club of The Villages provided almost $23,000.00 to various local and international organizations.

Zonta International members advocate for women’s and girls’ rights and believe in making the world a better place. We do this through our many local and international service projects and by being a credible and visible voice for gender equity.

The Zonta Spirit is the heart and soul of Zonta International and helps create a powerful culture of community, respect and friendship in an inclusive environment. Our global membership is stronger when we cultivate and promote the Zonta Spirit. We find joy in undertaking our work in a supportive community of like-minded people from diverse countries and cultures.

The Zonta Club of The Villages presents the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigations (MBI) with gift cards to be used when rescuing a woman or girl from human trafficking, often in the middle of the night. Since cash cannot be gifted, we present gift cards that allow for the purchase of immediate necessities, such as food, toiletries, and clothing, until they can be placed in a more permanent, safe, and secure location.
