TEXARKANA, it’s almost time!

This September, Texarkana Repertory Company brings Come From Away to the stage, the incredible true story of thousands of passengers diverted to Gander, Newfoundland after American airspace closed on September 11, 2001.

In the middle of tragedy, ordinary people opened their homes, shared what they had, and cared for complete strangers.

It’s a story about 9/11, but even more, it’s a story about kindness, community, and what we are capable of when people need us most.

The story of “Come From Away” is a fantastic lesson in human kindness, the ripple affect tragedy can have on all of us.

Come from Away is a true story based on events surrounding September 11th, 2001, when all of United States airspace was closed for the first time, ever.

38 planes were diverted and instructed to land at Gander Airport in Newfoundland.

Come join us as we share the story of the unsung heroes in the midst of chaos and tragedy.
