At our June Outreach, we had such a great time serving our neighbors! We fed over 150 servings of food, handed out snack bags with encouraging notes put together by kids who attended a local VBS as well as conversed/prayed with so many looking for some encouragement. We can't wait for the next Outreach!!!!

We LOVE linking arms with others to bless this community! We are so incredibly grateful for the donation of high quality ground beef! They really enjoyed it!!!!

Hills and Valleys Refuge worked with Sterling House today to feed the community. Thank you Terry Rowe for the meat donations. The meat allowed them to feed 300 tacos to the community!!

Our monthly outreach is happening THIS SATURDAY!!! We'd love to have you come serve with us! We will feed them soft tacos, charro beans, chips/salsa, celebrate June birthdays with cupcakes, play fun outdoor games as well as offer prayer and encouragement. Pray with us for a wonderful time of ministry!

Today, we shared about our nonprofit with over 100 kids at a VBS hosted by First Baptist Church DeKalb, Texas! We were the showcased mission rotation for the day. These kids were exposed to how Jesus says those in crisis should be treated as well as how they can be a part of spreading His love and hope to those who really need it!

They made nonperishable snack bags with encouraging notes included for us to hand out to neighbors experiencing homelessness. The one in the picture says, "I pray you find a happy home, family and pet. Jesus loves you." We pray their hearts were inspired and moved to cause a ripple effect of kindness to those most vulnerable in the Greater Texarkana Community.

Connection. That's where healing begins. And we are dedicated to building deep connections with neighbors in our community who need it most. Because without it, they have no hope. We seek to create space for them to feel seen and heard. This is Sterling House TXK.
