The 11th Annual Cooper Tire Big Bass Classic at Millwood Lake, drew a tremendous crowd. Bobby Liles won with a 8.57lb catch and Chad Hodges was second with 8.47lb largemouth! The winner received $5800 and a Championship ring from Crocker’s Jewelers! Well done to the Committee from Cooper Tire and USW 752L. Gratitude is extended to our valued sponsors, volunteers, and skilled fishermen. THANK YOU!

THIS SATURDAY!! The 11th Annual Cooper Tires “BIG BASS CLASSIC” is being moved from Lake Wright Patman to Yarborough Landing, Millwood Lake in Ashdown, AR. “Due to dredging at Lake Wright Patman and the resulting lowered water levels, the lake is too low to safely fish the tournament; therefore, it is being moved to Millwood Lake this year.” Kyle Thomas, Tournament director.

This is Cooper Tires' biggest fundraiser for United Way of Greater Texarkana, and it is also one of the largest BASS Tournaments in the region. $16,400 in potential prize money, plus $15,000 in raffle items, music, and food trucks! There is also a Championship Ring, donated by Crockers Fine Jewelry!!

Today marks a special occasion as we recognize our valued United Way supporters, volunteers, community leaders, and friends at our 102nd annual Recognition Breakfast. This year's event highlighted our top 10 corporate sponsors, with TXK, AR Mayor Bob Bruggeman and Tami Eakin receiving the Morriss Family Pioneer Award, and Chris Sutton being honored with the Kline Cup. The event commenced with an invocation by Ken Cox and featured a saxophone performance by Rich Walker. The top campaigns among our partnering agencies were Texarkana Resources, Salvation Army, and Temple Memorial Pediatric Center.
