❤️ A wagon full of kindness! ❤️

This week, one of our favorite community partners, Gentiva Hospice, stopped by with a wagon full of pantry items for our seniors!

Many of the seniors we serve, especially those living alone, need single-serving, easy-to-prepare foods that can be turned into simple, complete meals.

We work hard to make sure our pantry is stocked with items that are truly useful to our clients, and we are so grateful for partners like Gentiva who understand those needs and intentionally shop to help us fill the gaps!

Thank you, Gentiva Hospice, for always thinking of our seniors and helping us care for those in our community! ❤️

💜 October is Elderly Financial Exploitation Awareness Month.
Financial exploitation occurs when someone improperly uses an older adult’s money, property, benefits, or personal information for their own gain.
It can happen to anyone, and often the person responsible is someone the older adult knows and trusts.
Throughout October, we’ll be sharing simple ways to recognize the signs, prevent exploitation, and help protect older adults in our community.
Awareness is the first step. 💜
