Where are they now? ❤️💪🏾

When Clarence graduated high school in 2024, he had already made a decision about his future: he wanted to become a Marine.

He didn’t just talk about it. He stayed committed to the plan, remained focused, and followed through. Now, that goal has become a reality. Clarence has officially enlisted as a United States Marine. 🫡

This is what we mean when we talk about planting seeds, building character, and preparing young men to pursue their goals with purpose and discipline. We are extremely proud of him and the young man he continues to become. His journey is just beginning, and we can’t wait to see where it takes him.

As Dr. Carter G. Woodson said, “The effort must result in making a man think and do for himself.”

That’s the mission. That’s the result.

Today, our village celebrates a huge accomplishment! One of our outstanding young men has officially graduated from high school, and we couldn’t be more proud! 🙌🏾

This achievement is more than a diploma, it’s a testament to hard work, commitment, and the power of village work. When young people are supported, encouraged, and surrounded by people who believe in them, amazing things happen.

When our young Black boys graduate it should make the community proud. This is just the beginning, and your future is full of possibilities! 🚀✨

They were given one task: build a house… without saying a word.

What looked like a simple challenge quickly turned into a lesson in patience, body language, and trust. Different ideas, no voices, and the pressure to still find a way to work together.

For many teens, this isn’t just an exercise—it’s real life. Being expected to follow direction, work with adults, and navigate situations where they feel unheard.
Today wasn’t just about building with magnets. It was about understanding that communication goes beyond words—and that every voice matters, even when it’s not spoken.
