We usually keep these grounds quiet. Most who step onto this soil whether students, visitors, or those carrying unseen burdens come seeking a moment to slow down, sit in the stillness, and let the gentle rhythm of the animals begin to mend what is broken. We protect those peaceful, healing spaces fiercely, choosing to keep most of those quiet triumphs private so souls can heal without the glare of a camera.

But today was different. Today was a milestone too beautiful not to share.

For a long time, one special family held a dream close to their hearts: bringing home a gentle, fuzzy calf to be more than just a pet, but a steady, true companion for their son.

Enter Francis.

Francis is calm, endlessly curious, and wrapped in the softest coat, but his true beauty lies in his spirit. He carries an extraordinary gentle grace that reminds us why some things in life cannot be measured in dollars. He isn’t cheap, but he is worth every single dime truly worth his weight in gold.

Today marked the very first training session where human and calf stepped forward together as one. Watching a boy walk down a sunlit dirt road alongside a soul meant just for him, and seeing the quiet, forehead to forehead connection of pure trust, is why we do what we do.

It is moments like this that redefine what it means to welcome a new calf into a family. It isn't just about training or ownership; it is the quiet, sacred beginning of a lifelong bond, a shared path, and a dream finally coming home.

There is a quiet pride in getting a bargain, but the calves raised here are never cheap nor should they be. Every calf we sell represents an immense investment long before they ever arrive: meticulous breeding choices, substantial financial resources, and months of preparation.
Once they are in the pen, that investment becomes deeply personal. It takes relentless time, endless patience, a bit of blood, a great deal of sweat, and the daily commitment of teaching and taming them, and sometimes even a song or two sung to the calf we are training. By the time they leave our care, they take a piece of our hearts and our tears with them.
We don't raise cheap calves because we don't cut corners. You aren't just buying livestock; you are buying the effort, dedication, and heart that went into raising them right.

When you ask how much, please don't expect auction prices, expect to pay for something that you love, enjoy and take pride in for a long time.
