EXTRA, EXTRA Read All About It!

💜 What a blessing! I’m honored to be featured in Bergen County Magazine in the article “From Survivor to Lifeline: Theresa Johnston’s Mission to End Domestic Violence.”

Thank you, Stacey Feintuch, editor of Bergen County Magazine, for taking the time to interview me and share the story of Never Alone Again—our purpose, our work, and the community we love to serve.
My journey as a survivor became a promise to help others, and I thank God for allowing me to live that purpose every day.

The timing is especially meaningful during Domestic Violence Awareness Month. I’m also excited to share my upcoming book series and workshops, created to encourage, educate, and support women on their journeys toward healing.

My prayers for Never Alone Again Domestic Violence Organization is to have a fully functional Shelter to help women with their children get into a safe place and away from domestic violence & abuse. I hurts me when I don't have a space to help. I've been there and it almost ended my life. 😔

With grateful hearts, Never Alone Again Resource Center thanks Ms. Lauren, Mr. Mills, and the Student Government Association at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck for this beautiful Community Partner Award. We are truly honored to receive this recognition at the 2026 SGA Gala for hosting our prom dress project over the past three years.

It has been a joy to support so many students by providing free prom, formal, and graduation attire, along with toiletries. Every student deserves to feel confident, celebrated, and supported during these special moments.

To Ms. Lauren and the entire Student Government team: thank you for your kindness, partnership, and for recognizing the heart behind this work. Please know that Never Alone Again is always here for FDU students, and you are always welcome at our organization.

We are deeply thankful. God bless you all! 💜
