What is our book club reading for June?

June is non-fiction month and the selection is A Woman of No Importance: The Untold Story of the American Spy Who Helped Win World War II by Sonia Purnell. "A never-before-told story of Virginia Hall, the American spy who changed the course of World War II."

Building Better Claiborne is excited to announce that they will be having a Dinner and Auction fundraiser on Monday June 29th, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Olde Church, 502 Pennlyn Avenue in Cumberland Gap.

Building Better Claiborne (formerly Habitat for Humanity) is a non-profit foundation serving Claiborne County Tennessee. The Foundation provides affordable housing and repairs for low-income families, elderly, and veterans in the service area.

�Tickets for the dinner are selling fast at $50 each and the night will prove to be very entertaining with live auction and meal provided by Nineteen19 Grill and Bar. ��

Building Better Claiborne, has ongoing projects for storm damaged homes, a veteran in need, and more. ��This event will help fund those ongoing projects and propel the foundation into the future.

�Auction items are still being accepted and will be posted as soon as available. Local businesses are encouraged to sponsor this very worthwhile event. Sponsorship is $200 for the event which will include advertising on the flyer and two tickets to the event.

Our Woodlake Book Club's May fiction selection is Theo of Golden by Allen Levi.

We will be meeting/eating at The Old Mill Bed & Breakfast @ 11:30, May 18, in Cumberland Gap. They serve a very nice luncheon for around $10. Please be sure to RSVP your attendance for the meeting so we can make reservations.
