Coming next year in addition to A Claiborne County Christmas Festival & Lighted Tractor Parade!! 🎄🎅🏻 The Peppermint Pathway!! 🎄🎅🏻 Individual businesses or community organizations can decorate their own tree which will be lit up from our event through the new year for the community to walk through and enjoy!! 🎄🎅🏻

**On a side note: We will be collecting artificial trees after Christmas this year for the Peppermint Pathway. If you have a tree that is still in good shape you would like to donate, we would greatly appreciate it!** (Details to come.)

We have been asked why we have “A Claiborne County Christmas” Festival & Lighted Tractor Parade so early. The reason is two-fold:

1. There is a Christmas parade in every municipality in the county. (How awesome is that!!) We don’t want to take away from another parade by doing it on the same day. We tried to do ours the same day as New Tazewell’s Merchant Parade - one in early afternoon and ours at night. It was honestly just too much for those that did both. Kids were exhausted, parents were exhausted, etc. We ring in the holiday season and there’s something great happening all the time until Christmas in our beautiful county.

2. The lighted tractor parade is at night when the temperatures start dropping. Many of our drivers are on open tractors and not in a heated cab. Many of our drivers are older farmers who the cold at night bother. The later we do it, the colder it gets. Plus, kiddos LOVE this parade and earlier keeps them from colder temps, too.

Enjoy our newest county tradition and bring in the holiday season with us!!
Main Street in Tazewell is looking like a Hallmark movie!!

We sure hope to see you all tomorrow for good shopping, LOTS of food, great music, lots of FREE kids’ activities, and the absolute coolest lighted parade you will ever see celebrating our agricultural heritage.

The best place to view is in front of the stage in front of the courthouse complete with snow machine, a huge movie screen, Christmas music, narration about each participant, and with a cup of hot chocolate from one of our vendors! Come and cheer on our oldest farmers as they light up the courthouse! We promise a wonderful time!!

*The City of Tazewell will also have the old Gulf Station ready for Christmas and for tours!!* 😀

We cannot wait til tomorrow! It is going to be amazing!!! We have many, many many vendors. Come ready to shop and eat. We have LOTS of children’s activities including the mini tractor parade!
The main event will begin at 6:00 pm with the lighting of the courthouse and the lighted tractor parade!!! Come watch in front of the courthouse to get the full effect of snow and Christmas music!!

Schedule of events for “A Claiborne County Christmas” Festival & Lighted Tractor Parade on Saturday, November 15, 2025, on Main St., in Tazewell.

We have lots of vendors so come do your Christmas shopping, eat some good food, listen to some great local talent, and watch our county’s new tradition that everyone loves as we honor our oldest active farmers and bring in the holiday season! Main Street will look like a Hallmark movie!

It’s almost time to start off the holiday season with the most fun Christmas event that has quickly become a tradition in Claiborne County!! A Claiborne County Christmas Festival & Lighted Tractor Parade is Saturday, November 15 on Main Street in Tazewell that will look like a Hallmark movie! It is dedicated to our agricultural heritage with the oldest active farmers as grand marshalls.

Schedule of events:
1:00 Festival begins with lots of vendors and food …. And local talent performing across from the courthouse all day.

All day - kids’ activities with free jump houses, putt putt golf, Christmas train driven by the wonderful Tammy Cheek, letters to Santa in the “magic mailbox” with the Boys’ & Girls’ Club of Claiborne County, crafts, face painting, hair tinsel by Old Town Salon, and free pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus!!

6:00 (dusk) Lighted Tractor Parade begins down Main Street! The best place to see it is on Main St. where you can hear Christmas music, see snow, and watch our oldest farmer light up the courthouse.

We need lots of tractors!! Sign up to join us! Those that do will tell you it’s the most fun thing they do all year!

We still can take vendors and food trucks.
A schedule of singers will be out this week.
We also would like to hear about any ACTIVE farmer age 85 and older in Claiborne County!
