📣 We are high school educators. Supporting students and helping them grow into young adults is what we do!

🙌 We are excited to support Alexis Frye, a passionate alumni who as a recent graduate would bring a valuable student-centered perspective to our school committee. As educators we understand the importance of a school committee that is informed and committed to a thriving future for B-P. We’re confident Alexis would bring that voice and fresh perspectives to the B-P school committee. We stand behind our endorsed candidate as she reflects the caliber of leadership this district deserves in service to our students and communities.

🙌 We are grateful for the chance to speak with Representative Lisa Field after our Open House and even more grateful for her support! She believes in investing in the foundation of B-P and also hopes we can all get back to the table to find a way forward together!

The Open House was a success!! It was SO amazing to see SO many graduates! It was equally as amazing to see our friends from other schools connect with our community in support of finalizing a fair contract. 🙌🫶🫶

🏫 Open House is tomorrow, and we will be there to greet you and welcome you into our beautiful new school, even though we are still working without a contract.

The District has not returned to the table and they have issued their last and final package offer. Stand in solidarity with us and reshare this post or share this image as we seek a fair wage increase to invest in the educators that are the foundation of our school.

📝 We'd love for you to help move us forward with your support and encouragement by adding your name!

🫶 Sign, share, and know that we seek to attract and retain the best of the best for our students and deserve a fair contract to that end!

The Bristol-Plymouth Educators Union has worked diligently for the last eight months through good faith bargaining. Our negotiation efforts have centered around professional growth, improved systems for the district, and respectful compensation. All of these areas have a direct impact on attraction,...

We met.
We listened.
We countered.
We didn't agree,
BUT we believe we still can.

More to come.

The Ward 5 in Taunton always sets up a beautiful community forum for us! But oopsie - we were too distracted and busy to remember more photos 🤭🫣

Nonetheless, we had an honest and helpful conversation with Taunton residents and realized we share the same values when it comes to B-P and a fair contract.

We look forward to tomorrow's session!
