Wonderful news!

Our sweet foster kitten Jenny has been adopted! We are so happy for her and hope she has the most wonderful life in her new home.

Today was a wonderful day on the water for No Limits!

Kyle, one of our Eastern Shore Case Managers and a Master Naturalist, along with No Limits members Brandon and Kevin, who are also Master Naturalists, had the special opportunity to take part in a Living Classroom day trip aboard a historic 78-year-old workhorse buyboat.

Throughout the day, they learned about plankton, oysters, and the incredible wildlife that lives in our local waters. They even got to pilot the boat, use a trawling net to catch and observe sea creatures, and enjoy hands-on learning with a small class.

A huge thank you to Julie for extending the invitation and to the amazing crew for being such knowledgeable conservationists and teachers. It was a beautiful day filled with learning, nature, and new experiences.

Today was a great day at No Limits Eastern Shore with our special visitor, Patrick! 🐾

Patrick came to us through the Brave Buddies Program with Eastern Shore Regional Animal Control, and he brought so many smiles, tail wags, and sweet moments to everyone here.

The Brave Buddies Program gives shelter dogs a fun day out to:

* Take a break from the shelter
* Go for walks or small outings
* Meet new people
* Relax, play, and be seen

Adventure is hiding in plain sight! 🧭

No Limits Eastern Shore Day Support proudly maintains a geocache in Onancock, Virginia, and it has become a fun way for our members to connect with the community, learn new skills, and take part in a worldwide outdoor activity. So, what is geocaching? Geocaching is like a real-life treasure hunt! People use GPS or a phone app to find hidden containers called “geocaches.” Inside, visitors may find a logbook to sign, small trade items, or special trackable items that travel from place to place.

One of the exciting items we placed in our geocache was a Travel Bug — a trackable tag that geocachers move from cache to cache. And wow… look how far it has traveled! Our Travel Bug has made its way across
many places and has traveled over 12,000 miles! ✈️📍

We love seeing how something that started right here in Onancock can travel so far and connect people from different communities, states, and even beyond. It is a wonderful reminder that adventure has no limits!

A big thank you to everyone who has visited our geocache, moved our Travel Bug along, and helped keep the adventure going. 💙

🌿🐝 Exciting things are blooming at No Limits! 🦋🌺

A couple of our Master Naturalist members recently attended a picnic and plant swap and brought back some wonderful new additions for No Limits — a pawpaw tree and a beautiful hibiscus!

Kevin and Brandon also took a trip to Thomas Gardens, where they picked out new native pollinator plants for our pollinator garden. Native plants are so important because they help provide food and habitat for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators that keep our environment thriving.

We can’t wait to watch these new plants grow and see how much the bees and butterflies enjoy the newest additions to our garden. 🌼🦋🐝

A big thank you to our members for continuing to help make No Limits a place where people, plants, and pollinators can grow together! 💚
