Many schools have “PTA’s” and many schools have a “Parents Association”.

Friends of Wilbur (also known as “FOW”) is the name of our Parents Association and it’s the non-profit organization that supports Wilbur. In times of LAUSD’s budget cuts, Friends of Wilbur’s efforts and financial support are more important than ever. Friends of Wilbur is run completely by parent volunteers. Your parent involvement and support is vital to Wilbur’s success from year to year. We enco

urage you to participate in Friends of Wilbur meetings, activities and events. WHAT WE DO:

Friends of Wilbur pays 100% for the programs below. Can you imagine your school without a P.E program? Without a Computer, Music or Art program? Below is a list of the programs at Wilbur that are paid for by Friends of Wilbur. Without your donations, these programs would not be offered to your children. Health Teacher

Come after school to the Salute Auditorium doors to purchase candy and ice cream bars to support the 4th grade culmination committee, as they continue their fundraising efforts to make their 5th grade year extra special. 🌟

Tomorrow is the day! On Wednesday, May 27, come to Wilbur's 3rd Annual Ice Cream Party at Handel's in Woodland Hills. Visit the shop ALL DAY LONG and when you mention "Wilbur," Handel's will donate 20% of the proceeds back to Friends of Wilbur.

Parents are invited to attend our final Spirit Day of the year this Friday, May 22. Line up at the Garden Gate and admin will open the gates at 8:30am. Get excited for a special performance and lots of Wilbur news and headlines to close out the year.

Parents will be required to exit campus through the Garden Gate immediately after the Spirit Day assembly. You may not walk your student back to class.

If you would like to purchase any Spirit Wear before the year closes, now is the time! Visit the Wilbur Wear Shop on the Friends of Wilbur website and place your orders by the end of tomorrow (Wednesday) for it to be delivered in time for Spirit Day.
