Mixing up my use of different media in my painting experience. This painting is done using gouache. It's a first for me; enjoying the process🥰

Finishing up my first still life using gouache which I don't use. But, I took a two day online workshop given by Eric Rhodes. I really enjoyed it, so I will definitely add it to my "toolbox."

Well, John Thornton's demo was all that I expected and more! Not only is he an excellent artist, but he is also an excellent instructor!

We hope to book him for a workshop in the near future. So please stay tuned; we'll announce it on the VWS PAGE!

Liz Walker's workshop was very inspirational! This is a photo of cracks in a sidewalk that she had taken. From that point onward, the steps in between lead to pears! It was a journey, and it was a joy. Also learned to not toss paintings, RE-PURPOSE is my new word for 2026😁 Follow the VWS Community for the latest happenings in the world of art! Have a great rest of your day or night.
