Cub Scout Pack 9 Cub Scouting in Tarpon Springs... Kindergarten to fifth grade boys and their families are welcome. Summertime events will be posted here.

We meet on Friday nights at 7 pm in the Religious Education classrooms at St. Ignatius of Antioch Roman Catholic Church in Tarpon Springs, Florida during the school year. Contact the page administrators for more information about joining.

Scouting America is testing Chipmunks, a brand new program for children ages 4 and 5 featuring playdate-style gatherings, forest animal characters and a sticker-based recognition system.

What an exciting day for our Cub Scouts at their meet and greet with Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri!

Scouts came ready with questions and learned so much from their local elected official. The real thrill came with bonus perks like seeing the helicopter up close, exploring the MRAP, and checking out a police Tahoe.

They got their questions answered, snapped some awesome photos, and left with big smiles and unforgettable memories. Huge thanks to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office for an incredible experience!

Hook, line, and sinker… this trip was a reel good time 🎣

Our Cub Scout pack cast their lines at North Anclote River Nature Parkd while the fish weren’t biting, the memories sure were! From sunny skies to salty breezes, the weather was fin-tastic and the smiles were off the hook.

No fish to show, but plenty of laughs, teamwork, and outdoor adventure. That’s what we call a catch of a day!

🥔✨ BLUE & GOLD BANQUET RECAP — THE POTATO EDITION ✨🥔
WE. DID. IT. And we did it with POTATOES. 🎉
This weekend, our incredible Cub Scouts celebrated their Blue & Gold Banquet and honestly?? Mr. Potato Head himself would’ve shed a TEAR. From hotpoato, potato battery clocks, and potato bowling, our pack came LOADED (just like the potatoes 🧀🥓). These kids worked SO hard and deserved every single carb.

🥔 Potatoes were consumed at an ALARMING rate!
Shoutout to our den leaders who somehow wrangled a room full of wild, excited Scouts AND kept the potatoes rolling. You are unsung heroes. LEGENDS. Potato royalty. 👑
To our Scouts, we are SO proud of you. You showed up, you earned it, and you ate approximately 47 pounds of potatoes to celebrate. As you should.

🏁 VROOM VROOM; WHAT A WEEKEND! 🏁

Our Cub Scout Pinewood Derby zoomed into the record books this weekend with an amazing turnout and a whole crew of brand-new racers hitting the track for the first time! 🚗✨

From creative designs to nail-biting races, the energy in the room was electric. We loved seeing Scouts cheer each other on, families crowd the track, and new faces jump right into the fun. This is what Cub Scouting is all about, building skills, confidence, and memories that fly by fast (just like those cars 😉).

Huge shoutout to our racers, families, and volunteers who made this event such a success. If this was your first Pinewood Derby, welcome to the tradition! We can’t wait to see where the next race takes us. 🏆
