FOOD UPDATE
Wednesday Sept 30th 11-4, Buns, tomatoes, lunchmeat, fries are available courtesy of The Speed Family Blessing Box & Pantry Inc.

We have available packed boxes of food that would feed a family of four with 2 breakfast, 2 lunches and 2 dinners with meal cards.. if what's in the boxes are too much for your family, you can separate and take what you can use.

💙 75 Meal Kits Are Coming to Local Families! 💙

WIN-Spirations, Inc. is incredibly grateful to United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania for providing the WIN Resource Center with 75 family meal kits as part of their annual Meal Kit Packing event!

This September, United Way volunteers are preparing an incredible 1,750 meal kits for families across our region. Each kit includes shelf-stable ingredients and recipes to provide a family of four with:

🥞 2 breakfasts
🥪 2 lunches
🍽️ 2 dinners

Our 75 kits will be distributed to families in need through the WIN Resource Center in Tarentum and our sister in charity, The Speed Family Blessing Box & Pantry Inc.. Distribution dates will be announced shortly!

🚚 And getting 75 boxes from the Convention Center to Tarentum was no small task!

A very special thank you to Weleski Transfer, Inc., who generously donated the use of their truck AND their employees' time to pick up the meal kits today and deliver them directly to the WIN Resource Center. Community partnerships like this are what make it possible for resources to get where they are needed most.

From the volunteers who packed the meals, to United Way in partnership with Giant Eagle for making them available, to Weleski for helping us get them home—this is what community helping community looks like. ❤️

Thank you for helping WIN continue to address food insecurity and support families throughout our communities.

📢 WIN RESOURCE CENTER — WALK-IN HOURS & COMMUNITY DONATION REQUEST

The WIN Resource Center will be OPEN for walk-in services:

🗓️ Saturday, September 5
⏰ 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

🗓️ Wednesday, September 9
⏰ 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

No appointment is needed during these hours.

🥫 OUR SHELVES ARE VERY LOW — AND WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We are currently accepting donations of:

🥫 Shelf-stable food
🧴 Personal hygiene products
🧻 Paper products
🧹 Household cleaning supplies

With the recent power outages, we know that many individuals and families in our community have lost food and are now facing unexpected expenses trying to replace it.

If you are able, please consider picking up a few extra items and dropping them off at the WIN Resource Center during our open hours. Every bag, box, and individual item helps us keep our shelves stocked for neighbors who need a little extra support right now. ❤️

What a beautiful day here for the back to school program hosted by Mayor Santucci and the city of Arnold. Stop by to see us, grab your school supplies and learn about the WIN Workforce Development Program services and the WIN Resource Center. There's a water slide and other activities for the children.
