Sweet Tortie was found on the side of the road, frightened, injured, and in desperate need of help. We don't know exactly how she ended up there. She may have been abandoned, or she may have sought shelter under a vehicle and been injured. What we do know is that she was suffering and alone.

When she was rescued, Sweet Tortie was severely dehydrated, covered in fleas, suffering from ringworm, and had scratches and wounds on her face. She was understandably traumatized and scared.

Thanks to a compassionate Good Samaritan who stopped to help and the dedicated care of Dr. Worthington, Sweet Tortie is now safe and receiving the treatment she needs. She is slowly recovering, but her journey is far from over.

Your donation will help cover veterinary care, medications, treatment for her ringworm, nutritious food, and all the support she needs as she heals physically and emotionally.
Whether it is $5 or $500, every dollar helps give Sweet Tortie the second chance she deserves.

Beautiful Nicolette has been with us for over 2.5 years, and she’s ready to find her furever home! This sweet, loving girl adores playtime, tasty meals, and simply being with her person. She is about 3 years old, spayed, up-to-date on shots, treated for worms and fleas, and negative for FIV and leukemia. She’s healthy, happy, and waiting for someone to give her the love she deserves.
