We the Music – Celebrating 250 Years of American Voices

📍 Tappan, Rockland County, NY (30 minutes from NYC)

⏰ Student registration closes June 30, and only a few spots remain.

Open to student musicians of all levels (elementary through college) from Rockland County, the Tri-State area, and beyond.

No audition required. College students are asked to submit a recent video for placement.

🎻 Work closely with world-class BridgeMusik faculty in a collaborative and inspiring environment

🎼 Solo, chamber music, and ensemble coachings and performances

🎨 Composition and creative arts classes

🇺🇸 We the Music – Celebrating 250 Years of American Voices 🇺🇸

Join us August 1–16, 2026 for the 9th Annual BridgeMusik Summer Festival, featuring professional performances, community library concerts, student recitals, and educational programming throughout Rockland County, NY.

Festival highlights include:

🎭 Stravinsky’s The Soldier’s Tale (August 1–2) at the Nyack Center, featuring the world premiere of Dedication to Faust by Thomas Cabaniss

🎷 Community Library Concert Series (August 4–7), celebrating jazz, chamber music, immigrant voices, and American musical traditions

🎻 Student Festival Week (August 10–16), featuring chamber music, masterclasses, recitals, and performances by talented young musicians alongside distinguished faculty artists

✨ Special guest artist Carol Wincenc, flute

🎼 Opening Concert featuring The Dolphins Quartet and the world premiere of their newly commissioned work for the BridgeMusik Summer Festival

🎵 Festival Finale featuring Aaron Copland’s Appalachian Spring

🐬The Dolphins Quartet & a Full House at Nyack Library🔥
Thank you to everyone who joined us for a truly special BridgeMusik Chamber Hour concert featuring (Juilliard)!

With a full house once again, we were thrilled to close our inaugural Chamber Hour season surrounded by such an engaged and enthusiastic Rockland County audience. Your energy and support made this final concert of the series especially meaningful.

A heartfelt thank you to the Dolphins Quartet for an inspiring and creative program—sharing both classical works and original compositions, and bringing a fresh, vibrant voice to the stage.

We are also deeply grateful to and to Kristine Kumpf and her team for their partnership and warm hospitality.

We’re thrilled to share that our upcoming BridgeMusik Chamber Hour at , featuring (Juilliard), is now fully booked!

This dynamic program, New Voices, New Horizons, showcases original string quartet music by the performers themselves—offering a glimpse into the next generation of chamber music.

The Dolphins Quartet, current students and recent graduates of the Juilliard School, continues to gain national recognition, including the Bob Sherman Prize and top honors at the Chesapeake Chamber Music Competition, and has recently been named String Quartet in Residence at Mannes School of Music.

We’re excited to share a special moment from our recent sold-out BridgeMusik Chamber Hour concert at Valley Cottage Library — Bach’s Badinerie reimagined in a lively jazz style.

This performance captures the spirit of our first Chamber Hour season — bringing people together, cross-pollinating musical styles, and sharing live music in welcoming community spaces across Rockland County.

We are deeply grateful for the incredible response to this series — full rooms, engaged audiences, and a growing community around these concerts.
