Let's Take Care
of our Precious Park
Earth Day '25 was a tremendous success, with approximately 200 residents and visitors coming to the Mountain Top Library to learn about environmental issues related to our precious community.

Now it's time to do something about it - let's clean it up! Let's return it to its pristine condition. And as a group - it will be fun!

The day will start out with Beth Rennig leading us in a moment of mindfulness. And then...we'll take our bags, our gloves and our pickers (all supplied by us), meet at the viewing platform, and make our way back to the parking lot.

So come, bring your friends and neighbors. Wear appropriate shoes and a rain jacket if it's raining.
We'll see you there?

This poster will be put in the garden outside the Mountain Top Library when we celebrate Earth Day on May 4, 2024. Come visit, make a statue and put it in the garden, and plant some seeds or seedlings!

6093 Main St., TannersvilleThey say that Earth Day is every day. And that's true! So this Saturday, we're taking it one step further, and we're having an Earth Day celebration! All are invited/encouraged to come - this is MTP's fifth Earth Day, and we're getting better and better at it - it should be a terrific day for kids and adults.So round up your neighbors, friends and family and come!
For kids, we'll have:
An incredible demonstration with live birds of prey
Live snakes
Rock painting
Live music
Seed planting
Worms and bugs involved with composting
Bake sale benefitting the library
Recycling Game
For adults, we'll have:
Same as for kids, plus
Exhibits about our watershed and beyond
Catskill Center exhibiting about invasive species
Lots of composting information
Diet for the environment
Greene County Soil and Water
Fromer Farm about agriculture
Bake sale benefitting the library
AND LOTS MORE!
So please plan on stopping by - we'd love to see you as we celebrate our precious environment.
