We’re thrilled to see one of Tannersville’s newest businesses, Deja Brew Bakery & Cafe, featured in The Mountain Eagle!
Ish and Kimberly Villafane have built a warm and welcoming gathering place featuring authentic Puerto Rican coffee, freshly baked pastries, specialty sandwiches, and plenty of personality.

The Hunter Foundation is very proud to have Deja Brew as a tenant in one of our Main Street properties and to see the business growing, employing local residents, supporting other small businesses, and becoming such a valued part of the Tannersville community.

As many of you know, we’ll be hosting our annual Garden Gala on August 9 at Colonial Golf Course and we hope you’ll join us!

I’m always looking for new and exciting ways to make this event special, so I wanted to reach out to our amazing community.

Does anyone have a unique experience they’d be willing to donate to our live auction? Things like, private tours, guided adventures, exclusive classes, behind-the-scenes experiences, or other one of a kind opportunities, are always a huge hit.

Tannersville Antiques & Artisan Center is looking to expand our crew for the summer. We are looking for a special someone to join us on a part-time basis 3-4 days a week (24-36 hours) with potential to increase.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Greet customers & help them through their antiquing journey, providing a welcoming, fun atmopshere and shopping experience
• Process sales transactions via our POS systems
• Assist in wrapping sold items, opening jewelry cases, etc
• Assist with basic shop upkeep
• Represent TAAC positively & professionally at all times

Qualified applicants should be/have:
• SELF MOTIVATED
• RELIABLE
• Able to take direction well
• Work well with others in a group setting
• Be able to help lift/move heavy items & use a ladder to reach items out of reach
• Good communication skills
• Professional
• No experience necessary, but an interest in vintage/antiques in a bonus!

Details:
• Ability to work weekends is a must!
• $17/hr

Golf season is here!! ⛳🔥

We are excited to welcome everyone back to Colonial on Friday, May 8th, for the start of the 2026 season. The bar will reopen on May 8th, and our tavern will officially open on May 27th. Additionally, we have our Men’s League Meeting scheduled for May 13th as we prepare for another fantastic summer of golf. Thank you for your continued support, and we hope to see you back on the course soon!

Big day for Tannersville and the surrounding community!

We officially broke ground on the Fromer Market Gardens Culinary Hub, a space that will bring together education, local food, and small-scale craft production under one roof. This project is all about creating opportunities for growers, makers, and future culinary professionals to learn, collaborate, and thrive.

We’re proud to be working alongside incredible partners who helped make this vision possible: USDA, Empire State Development, NYS Department of State, Cornell Cooperative Extension, and the Village of Tannersville.

Once complete, Cornell Cooperative Extension will lead the educational programming and develop the curriculum, helping ensure this hub becomes a lasting resource for hands-on learning and workforce development in our region.

This is just the beginning. Stay tuned as we build something truly special for our community!
