🚲💙 MORE THAN JUST A BIKE — IT’S A COMMUNITY COMING TOGETHER! 💙🚲
Sometimes, the smallest acts of kindness can make the biggest difference in someone’s life. ❤️
A few weeks ago, through Almost All Wheels, an initiative of Diamond in the Rough, we had the opportunity to provide a bicycle to a young man who needed reliable transportation to and from work.
We’re just now getting the opportunity to share this special moment, and it’s definitely one worth sharing! 💙
What makes this story even more special is how it all came together!
The bicycle was generously donated by John Mounce, a wonderful member of our Taft community. Thanks to John’s kindness, our dedicated Almost All Wheels mentors were able to put their skills to work, repair the bicycle, and get it ready for its new owner.
When the young man received his bicycle, his reaction was priceless! We were fortunate enough to receive these wonderful photos, along with a heartfelt message from his mentor:
“Just want to say how much of a smile you put on that young man’s face. He was completely blown away and our message to him was that there is a community of people who care and put the work in. Thank you so much!” ❤️
THIS is why we do what we do!
💙 A very special THANK YOU to John Mounce for donating the bicycle that made this possible. Your generosity helped provide someone with something they truly needed!
We also want to thank TalentBase and the wonderful team pictured for being part of this special moment, along with our amazing Almost All Wheels mentors and volunteers who dedicate their time and skills to making things like this possible.
🚲 To everyone who has donated a bicycle to Almost All Wheels — THANK YOU!
Your donations mean more than you may realize. A bicycle sitting unused in someone’s garage could become reliable transportation for someone heading to work, a way for a child to get around, or an opportunity for our youth to learn valuable hands-on skills through mentorship.
At Almost All Wheels, we’re not just fixing bicycles. We’re giving them a second life and helping people move forward in theirs. 💙
One donated bicycle. Many helping hands. One very grateful young man.
This is what community is all about! ❤️
