If you are trying to buy a gun right now, be advised of the following potential delays when you go to pick up.
Here is an update about an issue you might be hearing rumors about. We are able to process your background check no problem, but picking up your gun might be a problem. The CA DOJ is currently behind on approving background checks. So even though your ten days might be up, you still cannot pick up your gun. We here at Westside Arms will be texting you and letting you know if this might be an issue for you. As of right now, assume you might not get your gun for 12 days instead of 10. We will not know until after your ten days are up. This is the same for dealers all over the state, so please share this information with your friends and before you go to pick up your fi****ms, you would be best to save gas and contact your dealership first.
Second, we started a basic ammo check for a customer on 3/22/2020. They are still listed as in progress. All of our basic ammo checks we have run since then are still listed as "in progress". So if you do not have a gun registered in your name and want to buy ammo, it could be weeks before we can give you your ammo. The standard ammo check is still instant and working properly...for now.

These issues are beyond our control and just further display of how these complicated processes to purchase guns and ammo are denying you of your Constitutional rights when the government does not fulfill their duties. They are 100% an infringement upon your liberty.
