🐾💗 SOME STORIES ARE HARDER TO WRITE THAN OTHERS. 💗🐾
Because behind every photo is a little face that is waiting.
Waiting for someone to notice them.
Waiting for someone to choose them.
Waiting for the day they finally get to stop wondering what comes next.
At Lucky Paws Rescue, we have several wonderful cats who are still waiting for that moment.
Some came from difficult beginnings.
Some were born outside.
Some were overlooked.
Some simply haven't found the person who realizes that their missing piece might be two cats instead of one. 🐱🐱❤️
And sometimes…
the perfect family might have room for three. 🥹🐾

One of the hardest things we face in rescue is finding homes for bonded pairs and groups of cats.
We know that asking someone to adopt two cats can feel like a big commitment.

💗 ROXY & FRANNIE
THE PERFECT PAIR OF SISTERS! 💗🐾

These beautiful sisters are about 1 year old, fully vetted, and absolutely wonderful girls. They are the kind of cats who bring a little bit of everything you could hope for into a home.

💗 LEELEE & BLUEBELL
Two sisters with two very different personalities — and a beautiful bond.
Bluebell loves attention and being held.
LeeLee is the mischievous one who will keep you laughing.
Different personalities. One special connection.
They are happiest when they have each other. 🐱🐱❤️
💗 TAFFY & GUMBALL
Approximately 2-year-old siblings who are fully vetted, happy, healthy, and ready for their next chapter.
Gumball is the fun-loving boy who loves having a buddy — including his little Terrier mix friend!
The two have been known to play TAG through the house, racing after each other and keeping everyone entertained. 😂🐾
Taffy is an incredibly sweet girl who may need a little time to warm up. Once she feels safe, she opens her heart and shows you just how loving she really is.
These two don't need to be rushed.
They need someone patient.
Someone who will let them decompress.
Someone who understands that trust takes time.
And once they feel safe?
That's when you get to see the magic. ❤️
Their ideal home is calm, laid-back, without small children, and willing to let them settle in at their own pace.
🌟 LUKE & LEIA
Their story sounds like it belongs in a movie.
Their mama, Padme, was living outside when she gave birth to these babies.
And what day did they arrive?
May 4th. 🌟
Yes… May the 4th.
Thankfully, Padme was rescued, too, and Luke and Leia were raised in an amazing foster home where they learned that people can be kind and homes can be safe.
Now approximately 24 weeks old, these two are:
❤️ Healthy
❤️ Happy
❤️ Social
❤️ Friendly
❤️ Great with other kitties
❤️ Good with cat-friendly dogs
❤️ Fully vetted
But most importantly…
🐱🐱 LUKE & LEIA ARE BONDED.
They follow each other everywhere.
They play together.
They explore together.
They nap together.
They grew up together.
So they will be adopted together.
Their mama has already found her forever home.
Now it's Luke and Leia's turn.

💗 SUKI & CLOE
Sometimes you don't choose your best friend.
Sometimes they just find you.
Suki is an approximately 3-year-old handsome tabby boy.
Cloe is an approximately 2-year-old beautiful white-and-tabby girl.
Both are fully vetted.
And somewhere along the way, these two found each other.
Now they want to spend the rest of their lives together.
Suki and Cloe may take a little time to warm up in a new home, so we're looking for someone who understands that trust isn't always instant.
Give them a quiet place.
Give them patience.
Let them come to you.
And you'll get to discover the wonderful cats underneath that initial uncertainty. ❤️
They are cat-friendly and dog-friendly with respectful, cat-friendly dogs and would do best in a quieter home without small children.

🐱🐱🐱 HONDO, HARLEY & SQUISHY
THREE SPECIAL CATS. ONE LITTLE FOSTER FAMILY. SO MUCH LOVE. ❤️
What happens when three wonderful cats become friends and discover that life is even more fun when you have someone to play with, chase around the house, and snuggle beside?
You get Hondo, Harley & Squishy! 🐱🐱🐱❤️
These three have become a little family of their own in their foster home.
They play together.
They chase each other.
They hang out with the other cats.
They enjoy the dogs.
And when the fun is over?
They love to snuggle with their foster mom. 🥹💗
And here's the really special part…
THEY DON'T NECESSARILY HAVE TO GO TOGETHER. 🥰
They could:
🐾 All three go to one wonderful home
🐾 Hondo & Harley go together
🐾 Any two of the three could be adopted together
🐾 Or one could join a home with another friendly cat who needs a new best friend
We're simply looking for the right match for each of them.
💙 HONDO & HARLEY
These handsome boys are approximately 3-year-old brothers who know the joy of having a feline sibling.
They love to:
🐾 Play tag
🐾 Chase toys
🐾 Hang out with other cats
🐾 Spend time with the dogs in their foster home
🐾 And, of course, snuggle with their foster mom
They're the perfect combination of playful and affectionate.
One minute they're racing around with zoomies.
The next, they're curled up beside their favorite person.
💗 SQUISHY
Squishy is our approximately 2-year-old little girl, and she is every bit as adorable as her name suggests. 🥰
She loves being part of the action.
She enjoys playing with her feline friends, chasing toys, hanging out with the cats and dogs in her foster home…
And after a good play session?
Snuggle time with her foster mom is the BEST. 🥹❤️
All three have shown us just how much they enjoy having furry friends around.
But there's something their future families need to know:
THEY NEED A LITTLE TIME. 🥹
A new home is a big change.
They may need some time to feel comfortable and understand that they've found somewhere safe.
We're looking for families who will let them decompress, give them patience, and allow their personalities to come out at their own pace.
Once they feel safe?
That's when the magic happens. ❤️
Their playful sides come out.
Their curiosity comes out.
Their affection comes out.
And eventually, hopefully, those wonderful snuggles come too. 🥹💗

Martin and Tina are ready for a family who will love them for everything they are.

Sir Didymus • Rajah • Ludo • Moss • Onyx
Five kittens.
Five personalities.
Five little lives getting their chance.
They're all around 20 weeks old.
Sir Didymus and Rajah are brothers, and Ludo is their sister.
Moss and Onyx are brother and sister.
Their moms had been living outside and doing their best to survive. Thankfully, wonderful foster care gave these babies a safe place to grow.
Now they're learning how wonderful life can be.
🐱 Playing
🐾 Chasing each other
🎾 Exploring
😻 Making friends
💤 Wearing themselves out
❤️ And doing it all over again!
They're finishing their veterinary care and will be ready for their forever families as they complete the process.
Some may be happiest with a feline friend.
Some may be perfect as a pair.
And somewhere among these five may be the little face you've been waiting for.
❤️ THEY ALL HAVE DIFFERENT STORIES.
But they have one thing in common.
THEY'RE WAITING.
Waiting for someone to look beyond the photo.
Beyond the fact that there are two.
Beyond the fact that there might be three.
Beyond the fact that they might need a little patience.
Beyond the fact that rescue doesn't always come with a perfectly packaged pet.
Because sometimes the most rewarding animals are the ones who need you to say:
“I'll give you time.”
“I'll give you a chance.”
“I'll choose you.” ❤️
Lucky Paws Rescue is a small but mighty, foster-based 501(c)(3) rescue in Western Washington.
We give 100% to every animal we commit to.
We rescue animals who might otherwise have nowhere to go.
We work with shelters, veterinarians, foster families, and rescue partners to give animals a second chance.
And our goal isn't simply to get them adopted.
Our goal is to find them the home where they will never need to be rescued again. 🏡❤️
