Big Fifth Inning Leads Tabor Sr Legion Post 183 Past Alexandria Post 41 , Final Score: 11-1

Tabor Legion Post 183 scored seven runs in the fifth inning, which helped them defeat Alexandria Senior Legion Post 41, 11-1 on Tuesday at Tabor. Cooper Mudder singled, scoring one run, Conner Endorf induced Alex Adler to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Endorf induced Calvin Caba to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Carter Smith singled, scoring one run, Ethan Wagner drew a walk, scoring one run, Major Aarstad singled, scoring one run, and Madden Merkwan was struck by a pitch, driving in a run.
A steal of home by Ethan Wagner put Post 183 on the board in the bottom of the first.
Tabor added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Merkwan doubled down the right field line, Adler singled down the right field line, and Caba singled to center field, each scoring one run.
Isaiah Crownover earned the win for Tabor. The righty allowed five hits and one run over five innings, striking out five and walking none. Nolan Mentele took the loss for Alexandria. The starter went two innings, allowing one run on one hit, striking out three and walking two.
Post 183 amassed 10 hits in the game. Mudder, Caba, and Aarstad each collected two hits for Tabor Legion. Adler, Merkwan, and Caba each drove in two runs for Tabor Legion Post 183. Tabor Legion Post 183 were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Adler had the most chances in the field with six.
Kingston Feldhaus, Jett Jager, Brayden Bahmuller, Carson Kampshoff, and Keagan Hill each collected one hit for Alexandria Senior Legion Post 41. Hill went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in.
