Flag Day marks the adoption of the Stars and Stripes as the official flag of the United States by the Second Continental Congress on June 14, 1777. President Woodrow Wilson established the observance in 1916, and it was made permanent by an Act of Congress in 1949. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
