🇺🇸 25 YEARS AGO, THEY ANSWERED THE CALL. On October 7, 2001, U.S. and coalition forces began military operations in Afghanistan. In the wake of September 11, brave warriors stepped forward to serve.

Some never came home. We remember them.
Some returned carrying wounds the world cannot see. We stand with them.

Many continue serving our nation and communities—with the same courage and commitment that led them to put on the uniform. We honor them.

Twenty-five years later, our responsibility remains: remember the fallen, support their families, and honor those who came home through our words and our actions. Their service deserves lasting gratitude. Their sacrifice must never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

This morning we attended the B.A.A. Charity Team Kickoff Meeting alongside phenomenal organizations turning every mile into meaningful support for our communities.

For Military Friends Foundation, that mission is personal ❤️🤍💙 Supporting military families through unexpected hardships, standing with Families of the Fallen, and honoring those who serve and sacrifice.

A huge THANK YOU to the Boston Athletic Association, CEO Jack Fleming, and Bank of America for this opportunity and for helping charities turn the power of the Boston Marathon into lasting impact. Very motivating to hear from the amazing crew at Team B.A.A. today!

Military Friends Foundation was deeply honored to be part of recognizing September 22nd as the “1st Annual Military Service Member and Veteran Su***de Awareness & Remembrance Day” in Massachusetts.

Today is about awareness. It is about remembering the Service Members and Veterans we have lost and making sure those who are struggling know that asking for help is an act of strength.

We are especially grateful to the courageous families who turned their unimaginable loss into action. Military Friends Foundation joined the Massachusetts Executive Office of Veterans Services, Senator Patrick O'Connor, Joan Meschino, State Representative, State Representative Joe McGonagle, The City of Lynn English Marine Corps JROTC and S.A.R. to stand with all families impacted by su***de. And we rededicate ourselves to reaching those who may still be fighting a battle no one else can see.
