Friends of Ford's Pond We are an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting Ford's Pond Community Park. How can you help?

Since 2014, the Friends have raised over $4 million for Ford's Pond Community Park improvements. Working in a partnership with the City of Sutherlin, our volunteers maintain trails, improve habitats, and bring free activities to Ford's Pond Community Park. Volunteer Joe Keady mowed the Meadowlark (0.7 mi) & Rosa Ridge (0.9 mi) loops last week and shared this video. It really is worth the effort! Carry water, pack in/pack out trash, watch for ticks, poison oak, and other stinging/biting species (It’s the Oregon outdoors, folks). Dogs on leash only so the fawns feel safe and secure. Signs to direct you on the west side of the pond loop.

Walk the loop with us! Every Monday and Friday at 9am, Judith D. Stensland leads our walking group. Walkers meet at the Church Road Entrance and walk the 2 mile paved loop at Ford's Pond. You never know what you will see! Starting June 29th, the start time will change from 9 to 8am to beat the heat 🌅
