Angel Dog Acres Rescue Home-based 501c3 non-profit rescue for homeless & abandoned animals located in Ash, North Carolina.

Mission of Angel Dog Acres Rescue is to facilitate safe, caring and loving forever homes for lost, homeless, abandoned animals in our community. We match animals with compassionate, caring individuals for mutually rewarding relationships. It is our vision to significantly impact and decrease the number of homeless and abandoned animals through out our extended community by focusing on adoptions and education and promoting spay/neuter programs.

Update: We have found someone to give Lovely a wonderful end of life home!

Lovely Needs a Fospice Home ❤️

Recently, Lovely underwent diagnostics that revealed cancer, and sadly, we believe it has spread to her lungs. While we don’t know exactly how much time she has left, we do know one thing: she deserves to spend whatever time she has remaining surrounded by love, comfort, and kindness not in a shelter kennel.

Lovely is looking for a fospice home where she can enjoy soft beds, belly rubs, tasty treats, and the simple joys of being someone’s beloved companion. We will provide medical support and guidance; we just need someone willing to open their heart and home to a dog who deserves to know she is loved every single day.

This is one of the hardest asks we make, but it is also one of the most important. Giving a dog comfort and dignity at the end of their journey is an incredible gift.

If you can help Lovely, please contact us as soon as possible. Even if you can’t foster, sharing her story could help us find the person she’s been waiting for.
