Calling All Poets!

100 Poems & Possibilities for Healing is Brave Healer Productions signature, award-winning poetry collaboration, and they are looking for poets ready to publish!

This is going to be another award-winning collaboration, and just WAIT until you see the in-person goodness thwvPresidentvand owner of Brave Healer Productions Laura Di Franco is cooking up (teaser event coming online in Dec).

Who do you know who would love to be part of this poet family?

You’re doing them a favor by making the introduction.

Laura is offering 5 scholarship spots to the right people (must have a platform and be fully engaged), so if you know someone who needs that, let inbox me!

Are you ready for some poetry, giveaways, and an open mic? Well, August 15th, from 3 to 5 PM, the Inkwell is sponsoring its annual VIRTUAL fundraiser to help transform the lives of young ladies ages, ten to fifteen during our fall writing camp for girls.

This year, we're welcoming back Asha J.W. Hardnett (Watson) as the host, featuring board member ife {e•fay} means love. and highlighting writers Ninoshka Perez - Vocal Expression Facilitator , Michael Shawn Headley and Sarah J. Carter .

Whether you reside in the DMV area or across the globe, you are personally invited to be a part of this event, as we aim to raise two thousand dollars toward our fall writing program.

I was finally able to book a new therapy session the other day. It's not like I haven't gone to counseling before, but it was situational, time-stamped, and FREE! But this time is different because I am paying out of pocket, and I don't necessarily have the same limitations. During the session, the therapist asked me, how did the childhood me cope with loss and how does that show up in your life today?

In my reflection, I immediately connected the dots between how I crawled out of dark places as a kid and my "why" today - writing and creative expression. The InkWELL's WHY comes from experiencing the power of my pen and a journal. They were a conduit of reflection, awareness, and creativity. Poetry literally saved my life, and The InkWELL provides a safe place for others to experience the transformative abilities of poetry, creative writing, and expression.

On Saturday, August 13th from 3-5 pm EST on Zoom, The InkWELL is hosting its annual virtual fundraiser. It's absolutely FREE to attend, but your registration is required. We have , Nchantedlife, Michael Shawn Headley, , Asha On Purpose, and Miss Kiane! We'll have giveaways, AND an open mic!

Join The Inkwell and Nchantedlife for an afternoon of creativity, reflection, and WELLness!

On Saturday, July 18th, from 12:30 PM–2:30 PM, we'll gather at Cloverleaf Nook in Culpeper, VA, for a writing and wellness workshop designed to nourish both the heart and mind.
When we think of self-care, we often picture expensive spa days, retreats, or other special treats. While all of these are wonderful ways to replenish, there's a healing virtue in the power of our own pen.

Reflective and creative writing have long been recognized as powerful tools for emotional wellness, self-discovery, and personal growth.

Through guided prompts, thoughtful reflection, and a supportive atmosphere, participants will have the opportunity to explore their creativity while creating a safe space for themselves.

Whether you're an experienced writer or simply curious about putting your thoughts on paper, you are welcome here. Come write, reflect, connect, and heal!
