What a meeting this week at Sugar Hill Toastmasters. A room full of laughter, a few tears, and so many kind words about how welcoming our club is.
Our speaker this week shared how, through a difficult upbringing and the tragic loss of several siblings, he learned not just to endure, but to thrive through humor. A comedian by craft, he’s now using Toastmasters to perfect a speech he hopes to carry far beyond our meeting room, sharing his story to encourage others and make an impact around the world.
His message came with a formula of his own: E=mc², Endurance equals Misery times Comedy squared. A reminder that even our hardest moments, when met with humor, can become a source of strength.
