Need to clean out your closet? Need community service hours? Participate in our clothing drive!

Tomorrow April 27th and Friday April 28th bring clothes you'd like to donate to campus and leave them in the white fenced enclosures in the lounge.

You'll receive 1 hour of community service credit for each trash bag full of clothes you bring - just make sure to write your name on the bag.

American Red Cross Blood Drive this Friday from 8:00 a.m - 2:00 p.m. in the lounge! Sign ups are on the quad all week! You must be at least 16 years old to donate and if you're 16 you must have parental consent - there are forms waiting for you in the dean coordinators' office (in the lounge) which you can turn in when you donate. Hope to see all of you there!

With the May 7th deadline for community service credit quickly approaching, here are some upcoming volunteer opportunities!

On Saturday April 16th, there is a Service Day at Operation Gratitude from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Operation Gratitude makes and sends care packages to soldiers and veterans. The event will take place at 21100 Lassen Street Chatsworth, CA 91311. If you'd like to participate, please sign up here: http://signup.operationgratitude.com/harvardwestlake.

On Saturday April 23rd from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm and Sunday April 24th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Canyon Charter Elementary School in Santa Monica Canyon needs help running their annual Fiesta school fundraiser. Volunteers will primarily be setting up booths, working at booths, and later helping to clean up. If you're interested, please contact Rose Okumoto at [email protected].

The Special Olympics athletes will be competing in their events on our campus!
