On the Agenda
The "Riverwalk at Studio City" Project
A massive redevelopment is slated for the commercial stretch next to the LA River—currently home to Pinz and Carneys and the former sites of Bed Bath & Beyond and Jerry’s Famous Deli.
• Community Impact: This project will have a lasting effect on our traffic, housing density, and the overall character of Studio City.
• Get Involved: A representative from the development team will be present to discuss the project and answer your questions.
• More Info: For more information about Riverwalk, visit https://studiocityriverwalk.com/
LA River Ecosystem & Public Safety
A large homeless encampment between Tujunga and Colfax is causing significant destruction to the riverbanks and the local ecosystem.
• Law Enforcement Update: Join us this Wednesday for a direct update from the LAPD regarding this situation.
Ventura Place Parking & Traffic
Ventura Place has become go-to destination and a parking and traffic nightmare for residents and visitors alike.
• The City’s Plan: City Council says it has a solution and will present their new plan during the meeting this Wednesday.
New Brush Clearance Requirements
Many homeowners have recently received brush clearance notices for the first time.
• Ask LA Fire: A representative from the LA Fire Department will be on hand to explain why these notices were sent and what steps you need to take to comply.
We strongly encourage you to attend, stay informed, and make your voice heard. For more information and ongoing updates, please visit the Studio City Neighborhood Council website at www.studiocitync.org.
