Adopt-A-Highway cleanup in the books for Troop 84! 🚧🦅

​Our scouts (and some very dedicated volunteers) hit Indian ridge Road right here in Stuarts Draft today to do our part and keep the community looking good. 🌲☀️

​The grand total? A whopping 18 bags of trash! 🗑️😲 Seriously, we have to wonder what some of y'all are throwing out your windows. 🤦‍♂️ But hey, more bags just means more character-building for the scouts, right?

​Huge shoutout to everyone who came out to help haul all that garbage. The road looks great! 👏👏

Thank you Nate! In a few months the kids at Camp Light will really enjoy this. 💦 🎈

We are incredibly grateful to Nate from Scout Troop #84 for blessing Camp LIGHT with an amazing new water balloon station!

For his Eagle Scout project, Nate designed and built a custom station that allows up to seven campers to fill water balloons at once — including a lower, wheelchair-accessible nozzle so everyone can join in the fun.

Projects like this make a lasting impact on our campers, and we can’t thank Nate enough for his hard work, thoughtfulness, and dedication. Now we’re just waiting on warmer weather so the balloon battles can begin! 🌞

Brrr! 🥶 Troop 84 braved the chill to help out with the VAIL Arctic Dip at Sun Retreats right here in Stuart's Draft! 🐧🌊

While some very brave (and let’s be honest, slightly crazy) folks voluntarily charged into the freezing lake, our scouts proudly provided support from the safety of dry land. We helped keep that massive beach bonfire roaring 🔥, managed the patio heaters, and made sure there were plenty of hand warmers🧤

It was an awesome day supporting Valley Associates for Independent Living ( VAIL ). We're incredibly proud of the troop for their hard work and service—and for being smart enough to let someone else do the swimming! 😉

Join us in celebrating Matthew Battaglia, the newest Eagle Scout of Troop 84!

Matthew is officially keeping the family legacy alive, following in the footsteps of his brother, Michael, and his father, Jim. Achieving the rank of Eagle is a massive feat, and seeing it run in the family is truly inspiring! 🧬💪

For his Eagle Project, Matthew gave back in a big way to the Stuarts Draft VFW Post 9339. He constructed a brand-new fire pit and completely rebuilt the flag retirement box—ensuring our community has a respectful and dedicated place to honor the U.S. flag. 🇺🇸🔥

Matthew, your commitment to service and your hard work have made a lasting impact on Stuarts Draft. We are incredibly proud of everything you’ve accomplished!
