So this is a post we were hoping not to even have to make , infact I’m not sure why I’m even bothering , the people that take time to read these posts are usually not the offenders . We all know that this is not acceptable behavior, even the ones that are doing it know , we have not even been open 24 hours and we have a major landowner threatening to take away a major trail in our system , riders today were riding off the trail , spinning and tearing up the landowners property, with blatant disregard , for the property. This is not the first time we have had trouble this year . We have had riders all spring tearing down our signage even after we replace it several times . Let me remind the few that do this , it threatens our trail system , endangers our riders and is AGAINST THE LAW . My hunch is that the riders doing this don’t belong to a club , have no idea what work goes into landowner relations , volunteer work to maintain the trail , the countless hours of grant paperwork , the dedication of all volunteer club members . This blatant disregard for property affects all users of our trail system , throughout all seasons . So what we are asking is the majority of our trail riders , walkers , bikers hikers all those who genuinely enjoy the trails and appreciate the effort of the many volunteers and club members who help to maintain them through all seasons and who respect our landowners that if you see people not following the rules , if you see missing signage . Please contact us a quick message or text may help us rectify these problems . We are dedicated to keeping a safe and good trail system being good stewards of the land and respecting our landowners generosity . We are vested in our trail system and have put a lot of time into making it an enjoyable experience for all .
